Avon Man Tries to Swat Bug, Drives Into Side of Gravel Truck

Traffic was diverted off Routes 5 & 20 in Avon at midday Tuesday so EMTs could deal with a car-tractor trailer crash.

May-be you people out there that still break the law on driving with your cell phone, or a burger in your hand, or even trying to put your make-up on while driving----shoud be quiet.You'll be caught, sooner or later. I don't talk on or text from a cell phone, It Is Illegal in NY, Eating is also a Distraction! But here you go on to accuse those who have posted here as doing so in your blanket accusation! Maybe if you had seen the car I did many years ago that hit a Tractor trailor Head on and the Woman had a Bee on her dash, this guy had a FLY! Big Deal. And if you could see the damage that occured from his STUPIDITY, you could better feel this way. It happened real close to my home, It took our power out for over an hour, There was a Furel Spill that the Conservation Department has spend Thousands of Dollars Cleaning Up! and for what, He had a FLY on him! Maybe you should say no big deal to the Guy who just last year was driving his Tractor trailor when a SUV full of Girls who just were graduating High School veered suddenly in front of him hitting him head on! He survived, the Girls did not and their vehicle burst into flames burning them but the conclusion was they died on Impact, so maybe the text that went out seconds before from the Driver Cell phone made it OK to do so!

Basically if it looks like a Duck, It's a Freaking Duck, and if it a STUPID Thing To Do, It's Stupid and Swatting a Fly causing this wreck Was STUPID! as are all the things you accuse others of doing!

I was putting the point across, Don't do these things!!!!!1Even trying to pick something up off the floorboard, is a distraction, and like I said, WE HAVE ALL DONE THIS STUPID THING. Oh, touchy, touchy! I think the reason we all can joke is because no one was hurt here. Thank God! Anything could happen to any one of us on the road, from spiders on our glasses (yes, that happened to me), snakes running across the floorboard, etc. Depends on what your phobia is and how you react.
