This is terrifying and I hope they find all responsible and lock them up forever, its a shame when you cant even feel safe in your home, we have guns and it scares me cause we have kids but we will use them if someone breaks into our home, you cant wait around to see if they are going to do you harm or not. Too many drugs in this small town and its sad to see how this town has turned out over the years it used to be such a safe place to live. They have got to start locking these people up and quit letting them go the next day. Keep them jail, we pay enough taxes for them stay behind bars.

The person whose home was broken into is a good friend of mine. They should charge her with attempted homicide, because she would have killed him if he hadn't taken her down. He's a true hometown hero.

I was very happy to hear that she was captured. There is a possibility that two guys were involved in this with her. So far, no one knows for sure why she broke into his home.

She's listed in the Southern Regional Jail under Sandra Johnson.

Before long they'll be out on bond and nothing will ever be done about it. They knew this man and they knew he more than likely did not have a gun, wont be long one of theses dopeheaded idiots will push the wrong "armed" person and an example will be made of them.

They wont push into someones house if they even think that person has a gun. I think it's time for honest, lawbiding, taxpaying, vot ing citizens to exercise their right to open carry. You can open carry a firearm in West Virginia. You can have a firearm in your vehicle if it is in the open and not hidden, you do not need a permit to open carry. The only place you are not allowed to open carry is in any state or federal buildings,or any place that has a sign prohibiting the carry of a firearm. currently charleston, south charleston, dumbar,n martinsburg has city ordinances prohibiting the carry of firearms on city property. Which means that you could actually be walking down the sidewalk (state property) n be legal, step off on the grass (city property) n be in violation of said ordinance. There has been lawsuits filed against these ordinances in federal court, the lawsuits say the ordinances are unconstitutional, similiar ordinances in chicago were ruled unconstitutional by the united states supreme court. So it just a matter of time before these ordinances are found to be unconstitional. So remember you can carry your gun out in the open if you currently have a conceal carry permit it must be concealed though. Drug addicted theives, thugs will not be so reluctant to bother you if you have a gun.

No, they did NOT know this man. The woman was a complete stranger and was surprised to see him.

@lizzie - He wasn't seriously injured, just some scrapes and bruises. He did get cut a few times, but again, nothing serious enough to need medical attention.

Yes, his house is between two other houses. We don't know why he was the target. Unless the woman says why she did it, all we can do is guess.

He is lucky to be alive though.

Why is this criminal not charged with home invasion. Home invasion is a felony and regardless of any surrounding circumstances. If a person enters anothers home with the resident of that home in that home it is home invasion. Of course then its hard to justify only setting a 21 thousand dollar bond. Lets see with a 21,000 dollar bond ten percent to get her out thats 2100 dollars. Now a soon to come bond reduction hearing and bond will be dropped drastically. My point is in a month at most she is out and bond was not paid at all or very little bond was paid. Just another example of a revolving door criminal justice system that allows hardened, unrehabilitated, repea t offenders, drug addicted thugs to walk around with the same rights and priviledges as lawbiding, honest, hardworking, taxpaying, voting citizens. We have a new commissioner in office who promised when he was elected to help close the revolving door of our wyoming county criminal justice system. Remember our ELECTED OFFICIALS at election time vote them out and demand justice. We all know this criminal is a repeat offender and has been arrested several times for various drug related crimes truth is she should've been in jail long ago.

True hometown hero's are not registered sex offenders... ok perhaps he's a liitle less than honest himself n chances are he has had some type of relationship wth this woman.
