I read something posted at work about the City of Adamsville taxing non-residents. The wording led me to believe it may be some way to hike the sales tax in FORESTDALE, which currently is only 6%. Sales tax in Adamsville is already 9.5%! What are they trying to do?? How could they legally increase taxes OUTSIDE of the city?
I will try to check back soon to see if anyone knows anything. two zero five, six seven four, five six seven one (city of Adamsville) |

Just found out today... sales tax in Forestdale is now 7.75%, instead of 6%.
If anyone has any more info about this tax, please post. I will try to check back often. The numbers at the end of first post were to contact the City of Adamsville. I hope we can turn this thing around and get rid of this new tax. Let the city know your opinion. |
