I actually really like Tom Coburn, but think his recent decision to 'anonymously' block aid to Haiti is nothing short of reprehensible. I also can't understand his choice to oppose it anonymously ........unless his recent stand to block the extension of unemployment got him too much negative press and he thought he'd try to avoid it this time.

These recent actions leave a bad taste in the mouth and make me wonder whether this is Tom Coburn actually standing up for his beliefs. One other option (that I truly HOPE is not the case) is that it's just political grandstanding.

It's okay, though. I know you have to stick to your guns for voting for Obama. Personally, I couldn't care less anymore. You ever see that South Park episode with Obama and McCain and the election? It's starting to feel a lot like that. It doesn't matter who you vote for you still get more of exactly the same shit. You get liberals OR conservatives in office and they all seem to end up drawing a line directly down the middle with the only "change" being the public losing more personal freedom.
