Evidently you dont know what your talking about, he does have a trainers license and the horses were run in his name, so I found your whole spewing to be not very credible. And karma works both ways but if it makes you feel better to post your "opinions" have at it, but put forth an effort to get your facts straight beforehand.
ok Mr./Mrs. Heatwave, but unless he has gotten it in the last year or so, I do know my facts are straight. 99% of it came from the "horse's mouth" so to speak. And my opinion is no different than your's, just more factual & on the other end of the spectrum. Also since I see you didn't address the other real issues, from which one can only assume you are the uninformed one or he snookered you good & you're too dumb to know it. How many win/place/show's did you say he got for you & remember, I know exactly where to look to check the facts...LOL. Defend him all you like, but we'll see who running into the wind on this one & comes in last. My money's betting on Ole' Dave to do that when all the tickets are cashed.

Info after further reflection, you did add some interesting points. His wife has to know more than she lets on. You can't live with someone that long & not know. & of course she must have the brains in the family, as he certainly doesn't learn from his mistakes. And again, you're right about the child. Any father that would take his son out in the truck with him while drinking, drunk or on drugs isn't much of one & I saw him just 3 days before his arrest doing just that. He even stopped at a store to get more beer. Where is her head during that? Not thinking obviously or not much of a mother. As for having horses out in Central, it's Akins actually. They have a dried up little stream to drink from, a million cedar trees with no grass to speak of & no one has been there to feed them since winter. But that's ole' Dave for ya. Steal um' & forget um'.
And Heatwave, ask your good buddy about some stud horses he had out Dewight Mission way a few years back that stood in stalls for weeks on end, never getting out, standing on mounds of their own waste with no shavings with the only attendance being food & water being dump to them in nasty feed water & buckets . Ask him about all the cripple horses he & the wife ran over the years. The ones he knew couldn't run, but kept running anyway because he could con the owners out of money till they finally got wise. Of course I'm sure they will tell you those people don't know what they are talking about, but I sure do & so does everyone else at the track. Ask him about the drug running he did for awhile or the illegal drugs he used on your "horses" he ran for you. Dave has a big mouth when he gets drunk. LMAO
You saw him with his son three days before he was arrested?? Really?? Thats laughable because his son was not even in OK during that time or before. The facts are he was not arrested, he turned himself in. Again your stories dont match here... And dont tell me he's the only trainer in that town who keeps & runs horses who cant run or are crippled, because we have all had a few of those with lots of other of you trainers in sallisaw who kept them as well. Cant run & crippled are not his problem, sometimes thats just life in racing, has nothing to do with the issue at hand. Get your facts straight.

LMAO @ Heatwave! Again, you pick out what you want & never address the questions I asked of you. So I got it wrong on how long it was before his arrest & YES he was arrested, that I saw him. Maybe it was the little lady from Az. in the truck with him days before the murder. I stand corrected since you seem to know so much. I'd say you're more than just a casual friend or past owner to know those personal details, wouldn't you? And a trainer to boot, so that narrows it down. lol Irregardless your high opinion of Ole' Dave, most of us know him & his ways from a long time back. They haven't changed in 20 yrs & he didn't just have a "come to Jesus meet'n" in the last year or he wouldn't have been where he was to get into this mess. Go figure! BTW you never did say how many win/place/show's he got for you. I mean being such a good trainer & all that he is there should be at least one or two.

The big question is why do you care??? Who cares whos name a horse runs under, what does that have to do with anything here?? If you knew anything you would know - you take a test you get a license, even you could probably get one, well maybe not...
I care because he is a friend and business associate whom I appreciate and will stand up for because that is the way I know him/them - those are facts.

Your comments hold no water as usual, because you know nothing. Go ahead maybe you can blame dave for that too. Doubt it.
Your making me think of Banjo's and that song from deliverance, when I read one of your posts.

You are the one who stated "you saw him drunk driving around with his son" thats a pretty bold statement to make, when now you say you dont even know. Which is it? Perhaps you were one who was drunk that day. Two wins, five seconds, and two thirds in 11 starts - Facts. Narrowing down?? Just what are you trying to "narrow down" here, the lie you posted about seeing him? You did not, and you are now changing your story, how convenient.

hey J I thought that might be you. You even have his picture posted on your website. What a champ! NOW what I said was, any father who would take his son in the truck with him while drinking, drunk or on drugs, isn't a good father & that just 3 days before he was arrested, I saw him doing just that. If that wasn't what he was doing, you could have fooled me with that Coor's Light bottle sitt'n between his legs. Now granted, it could have had koolade in it & it could have been a Wednesday instead of Friday, but whether it was 3 days before or 3 months before, he's done it more than once. And that ain't NO LIE! If you know him so well even you'd have to admit that one or you're just one of his marks he keeps the cold dark truth hidden from since you're forking over the cash. But I will have to say, you can't be the smartest kid on the block because if you were, you'd have done your homework better before picking him as a trainer. His track record sucks as a trainer & a man. You've heard that old saying "the horse ran inspite of his trainer"? Just imagine what he could have done with a trainer who knew how to train. And with that, we're done! I've spent way to much time arguing with a person who has their head in the sand today. Peace Out!

Again, your opinion, and I know who you are too & I wouldnt classify you as intelligent by any stretch. No need to fork over the cash when the horses are winning it because they were trained to do so. Adios, and go find someone else to drag down, I can suggest a few up there.

I bet the OHRC would care. Since its considered Program training and defrauding the public if one person is the trainer and yet the horse is run unde a different name. And I have seen a few people not pass the test. You do actually have to know something about horses and racing. You also have to be able to handle a horse. If they don't think you can they make you saddle one before you can get licensed.

I realize this, but since I have the programs & it was my horse- they clearly state who the trainer is listed as. There is no defrauding involved. I wouldnt have said it if it wasnt fact.

I'm more worried that this happened on my road. That a man was murdered and that no one was informed it happened right here by us. Until it was on the news. They should atleast let the neighbors known that someone was killing people.

I own a piece of property not far from the "site" of the murder too. I saw it on channel 40 news and was surprised it was so close. Guess law enforcement thought the best way to inform was to let local news know about the story. They had a video of several deputies working the scene.
