anyone kno why lil tykes is closing?

i would love to know why lil tykes is closing my kid used to go there and i pulled her out .

They said financial reasons, but the owner just found out last weekend? Whatever....I asked her why she let me go ahead and let my 2 year old enroll after I told her he had never in his life been in daycare and that he needs stability. She said they just found out. Now he has to go somewhere else and get used to someone else. why did you pull her out if you don't mind me asking?>

well the entire staff if u ask me are rude, and there is more than one of those "teachers" who are really mean to the kids.
we moved to etown from frankfort when my daughter was 2 and she had been in the same place in frankfort since she was 8 months and had learned and grown so much then we get here and she started regressing. she started hitting and pinching after only a few weeks there and i would walk in some times and they were feeding her candy, wich gave me the reason she was so hyper when she came home. ur better off finding another place trust me. but i bet it has something other than financial reasons as to why they are closin

Well when you have as many kids as they do going there and they charge around $100 a week per kid (sometimes more) and your closing for financial reasons.....sounds like Ms. Tammy doesn't know how to manage money

lil tykes was a really good daycare. The teachers were really wonderful and took excellent care of my children for the past 3 years. Tammy is a good person to. The economy is bad and people are losing jobs and therefore pull kids out of daycare. Makes since. I'd rather have my kids there than any other place in town. It was the cleanest nicest place around. But thats just my opinion as a veteran of lil tykes. Sad to see them go!

My children attended lil tykes for two years, they absolutely loved it. This was the cleanest daycare i have ever seen! This was a family run business and i am forever thankful for the joy they brought to my childrens lives. I will miss Tammy and Diane. I am sorry the economy has closed them down. I was on a waiting list just to get my kids in there just to get my kids in 2006.

WhennTammy first , took the daycare from her home into a daycare setting she was honestly for the kids,, but as her business grew, she became money hungry, her mama and sister were rude,, and she played favorites with the children,,thats just my take

lil tykes closed because they didnt pay thier taxes. which is just fine with me. i had my children in there a few years ago. and i agree with the majority of you all in saying that the owners daughters & family were very rude. they thought they were the shit. haha. karma is a bitch.

I talked to diane literally a week ago and she said they closed because they have just lost too many kids to stay open. They are watching several kids in their home for those families that have been there for a while. my kids went there a while back and i loved it and so did my kids. i agree that they could come off as rude but deep down they are really great people! i am very grateful for the care that they provided for my kids!
