doctor charged with sexual abuse

has anyone heard anything about a doctor in etown charged with sexual charges?

I read in the paper that Dr. Nethers has been charged for having sexual relations with patients. He delivery my son, wonderful doctor. I would still have him as my og/gyn, i don't care who he has had consensual sex with ( as long as its not minors, which the article didn't say they were)

What is odd to me is that so many women would even like that guy, or do they? It is a money thing or she would never have said a word about it. Michael Methers is about 5 feet tall and has really crooked/yellow teeth. He is disgusting looking, so what does this say about the sluts that sleep with him?

I think it's a money thing. The paper said that he had a relation with a women years ago and that after 'the news got out' they settled out of court for $45,000. Sounds dirty to me. Some women are just gold diggers.

Yes, some woman are gold diggers. But Michael Nethers is guilty! He was forced out of his last practice for having sex with employees, and now he is going after patients. I have known about him for a long time, and I am not surprised this has happened. What is amazing is the people that are surprised. Where did he meet his wife? She is a nurse. What does she see in him? I know a former "partner" of his that worked at the hospital, and he preyed on her from there. He is a lying piece of SHIT, and he is getting what is deserved!

(WHAS11)- A patient of an Elizabethtown OBGYN is speaking out after learning of allegations her doctor had sex with another patient and employees.



Michael Nethers is under new restrictions after a patient came forward with allegations that he engaged in a two year sexual relationship with her.

Watch this story When doctors in Kentucky are accused of immoral, unethical or unprofessional behavior, complaints go to the Board of Medical Licensure, which can take action if the board believes the charges have merit.

So far, the accusations against E-town OBGYN Michael Nethers are merely allegations but the state board has placed restrictions on his medical license while it is all sorted out.

The relationship between a patient and her gynecologist is based on trust.



A patient says Dr. Michael Nethers violated that trust, when he began a two year sexual relationship with her while she was pregnant. It’s a relationship that the woman says led to sexual contact on each visit and the state medical board says resulted in more than 340 phone calls between Dr. Nethers and the patient.



Not all of Nethers' employees thought highly of him. Despite the fact that his wife Susan works in the same office as a nurse, three former employees claim he had sexual relationships with them.



One woman says Nethers had sex with her hundreds of times, another claims Dr. Nethers drove her to a park where they had sex and a third says Dr. Nethers invited her to his home where they had sex in complaints dating back to 1997.



Nethers wouldn't speak to WHAS11 News about the disciplinary action.

But his attorney said "Dr. Nethers maintains his innocence. He vehemently denies these allegations. If the medical board believed he was an imminent danger to patients, they would have issued an emergency order of suspension."



Under the agreed order, Nethers will have to have a female chaperone with him during all patient visits



Nethers has practiced at Hardin Memorial Hospital since 1993.



The hospital said in a statement issued today "The hospital is reviewing the interim agreed order to determine any actions that may be taken concerning his clinical privileges."

Dr. Nethers has been put under restrictions until his hearing, which is scheduled until October.

Who can sleep with someone through two pregnancies and point a finger in only one direction? She has a mind of her own.. He did not take away her free will of choice. i agree with u 100%, i mean the whore was there pregnant with someones elses baby and she is screwing the doctor.. omg .. then she decides that he was in the wrong and not her.. please bitch... and by the way i have never met this doctor but he is a man and if its thrown out there and hes not getting it at home, well hes gonna take it...

Find you another doctor "DING BAT" that is his practice and maybe he will ask you to leave. Why would he walk into your room unless you have made an appointment with him. Stupid post. All this trash about him is most likely a lie and these women got rejected just like I said and didn't get the money they thought they were going to get and now they are upset. Maybe they should find another way to pay all those bills they have.

Does anyone know if Susan is planning on staying with him? I would say she has to be in a real tight spot. She let him adopt her girls and if she divorces him, he has visitation rights to her girls and I wouldn't trust him with them.
