The members of this MC are not what "Mrs. Obvious" is alleging.
First of all, the key to gaining knowledge about individual groups is to talk directly with persons involved.
To fully understand how and why this MC operates, inquiring minds need to understand the reasons that it was formed.
It all started when a group of close friends who had been riding together decided to form a motorcycle club, that had the vision that they all shared. A family of bikers, that no matter what it was, they would be there for each other.
If one is troubled, they all would be there to help, and find the answer, then solve it.
No need to look over your shoulder to see if your Brothers are there, they will be there.
This vision stands today with the members of the MC Corrupted Souls Brotherhood and always will.
The purpose of this club is to promote brotherhood among like minded men whom share a strong commitment to BROTHERHOOD, HONOR, FAMILY, and COUNTRY. They all share a passion for motorcycling, and enjoy the Freedoms of being Americans. All of the Brothers are dedicated to the community, themselves, their families, jobs and the BROTHERHOOD of their CLUB.
Members of the Corrupted Souls Brotherhood respect all clubs and the colors they wear. The Corrupted Souls Brotherhood respects all clubs right to exist and expects the same in return.
This MC is not the stereotypical group of men with no morals, riding around the country wreaking havoc and getting into barroom brawls. The truth is that the members are not rowdy trouble-makers and they are in fact family oriented, honest, law-abiding, hard working people.
Colors, patches, and clubs "obviously" do not automatically represent the same as violent street gangs would use.
They are community oriented. They do have a right to assemble peacefully. As a matter of a fact no explanation is needed, but I will offer some education for those of you who are "obviously" uneducated.
Club colors themselves can be extremely intricate and detailed. If you look at the back of various member's jackets nationwide you'll see three (sometimes four) patches highlighting:
-The club's name, usually spanning the top
-The club's logo or emblem, in the center
-The chapter location, on the bottom (e.g. Chicago)
-Sometimes, distinctions and accomplishments displayed by pins & patches (surrounding the colors).
As for symbols, they date back to early Egypt and is said to stand for the transformation of the human soul from its duties on earth to its destination in heaven. The Egyptians also used symbols as a reminder of one’s purpose of life on Earth, which is to live in such a way that the soul progresses spiritually and attains union with whatever God you believe in.
This Brotherhood has chosen symbols and colors for their personal reasons which unifies their brotherhood. Or to possibly to thank all members for living life in respectful and purposeful way or, as a tribute and remembrance to all the brothers (sisters) who have left their families and friends, for a better place beyond this life due to natural causes, an illness, or because they were in an accident. Other designs such as the Celtic of the square knot is a symbol said to protect the wearer from harm and the evil intentions of others.
Motorcycle clubs have an important place in the history of the twentieth century.
Although the biker image has not always been positive, labeling a local brotherhood because they share the same values and enjoy the same life-style, and prefer to keep a degree of freedom of choice by engaging in their own club, does not make them criminal or give a reason to ban them from local establishments. We are not dealing with The Hells Angels, Pagens, or The Outlaws.
The choice to formally belong to one specific club is a ridicilous "topic" for discussion from a person who "obviously" does not have the courage to use their real name.
