Does it surprise anyone to learn that it was the scoreboard that served all the drinks to the drunk driver who caused the fatality? These people need to close and go away. Im sure they will get sued but i doubt they care

Oh shit, another liberal on here blaming the bar and the alcohol rather than the person that caused the incident. Damn, should we close every bar down like we want to ban all guns?

You people amaze me, blame the dumbass for a change and maybe society will get a little better.

I agree with 99% of your point, but I doubt this is just a "liberal" thing. Lots of church going conservatives who wouldn't mind blaming bars in these circumstances too.

I would bet you are right. When do people start taking responsiblity for their own actions? I'm personally sick and tired of sue happy people looking for a handout. My condolences go out to the girl and her family but what in the world was she doing out drunk at 3:30a.m. walking along a busy State Road instead of home with her husband? No one seems to think anything about that...it's always someone else's fault. And it wasn't the alcohol that killed her it was the man in the car. As far as Lenehan's I was under that impression that they are moving out of town anyway.

If she would have been home at 3:30 in the morning with her husband, she would be alive today. Everyone makes their own choices, good or bad we pay for them. Sorry for their family, hope someone will look at this and choose to make better decisions in their life. I only hope God was in her life.

I cannot believe someone is saying it's the womans' fault. She was hit by a DRUNK DRIVER. If the man was drinking at the Scoreboard, they will be liable. Part of the Indiana Alcohol Board requirments state that you are NOT to serve someone who you know is intoxicated. That goes for any bar in the state.

And I suppose no one has given thought to the fact that people who leave a bar never drink another drop from somewhere?

One can only wish that they are as perfect as all you nubs on here.

Good luck proving that!!! Maybe the guy wasn't drunk and left the bar and went home and drank more and then left his house. Who is liable now you moron? Would it be Allstate, State Farm or Farm Bureau or would it be the guy who it the girl? Oh yeah, we won't blame the person is actually at fault...

I wasn't condoning drinking and driving I was just saying that the girl shouldn't have put her self in that situation. No it wasn't her fault she was hit it was the driver's but I still say if she was home where she should have been she would still be with us. But I don't understand why people want to blame the bar...you don't know that they were there until closing they could have been out drinking somewhere else afterwards? Besides...how does anyone know that they were at the Scoreboard? It's an unfortunate situation that never should have happened but we are all responsible for our own actions and this includes the girl and the driver.

I take it you don't like the Scoreboard? If that's the case then don't go in there...you have that choice. The sad part about them leaving is the people that count of them for jobs!

Main Street pub sucks and no one goes there so he's trying his best to be the only bar in town. Sad thing is most would rather go to the midway than to drink with those losers! Scoreboard is a fun, non drama, place. You don't see many fights and if you do Jonas has them stopped before they get outta control! The scoreboard gets the crowd that the other bars want there for they use their pull and money anyway they can to run them outta town!! Cheaters never win, and winners never cheat! Jonas runs a safe, clean, and very fun environment and a lot of people are sad to see them leave! But the Main Street will not get his business I garentee that! People like to dance and have fun not sit and be bored they can do that at home!

Sorry but you have it wrong dude.

If Main Street wanted Scoreboard's customers they would just eliminate their food menu and deal with just drinks. Fact is Main Street wants people who will come in and eat. They don't want to be just a drinking bar. Those places are dying out around Frankfort and the fact that the Scoreboard is leaving proves it. Them along with all the others like NuVu, Night Moves, The Cave, etc, etc.

Truth is if Main Street were to become just a drinking bar like Scoreboard, they would lose their current clientele. The ones who will spend $30 to $100 on dinner and drinks. Why piss around with a house full of $2 beer drinkers. Go where the money is and that is what Main Street is doing.

Maybe if the Scoreboard were to offer more than chips and hot dogs they could afford to stay where they are at.

Don't get me wrong. Owners of the Scoreboard are great people. However times have changed and drinking only businesses here in Frankfort are on their way out. So if they need to go to Lafayette to be successful then I wish them the best of luck and hope it works out good for them.
