I watched her. I think she has much potential, but that butch "rocker" personna really wasn't really workin'.
I believe she will do very well however. You'd be surprised how much undiscovered real talent is out there in small towns. |

A little ......rough? ALOT! |

LOL, nice post baloneyponey.
I hate the show, but my wife yelled down that someone from Indiana was on. I thought she was different which was great and I think gives her a chance to stick out amongst the crowd of mostly teeny-bopper singing crap. I wish her the best of luck. Nothing wrong with positive media attention non-sports-related media attention for the state. It will be supercool if a Purdue person is involved as well. |

Does it really matter who makes it on the show? They are all Milli Vanilli wannabes who don't even sing.

She looked like a Patty's Showclub dancer. Sort of a Rosie O'Donnell & Roseanne Barr mix. Not a bad singer, but far from great. She looked like someone that hits the clubs on Talbott Street or visits "The Ten" on weekends.

My husband and I will be voting for her!
She's awesome! |

No, I think this gal would like a guy to tap her vs. having another chick partake. |
||||
Did she look like Ruth Dix? Some of those drag queens on Talbott Street are better looking than A LOT of Indiana women. |
||||

I grooved on her, but shes not what this show is about, they want a little frail opeson, like Clay fagolaboy or heavy D Reubens, or something of that nature, not a rock n roll girl. I really liked her voice, but its not geared towards this show,sorry.

Yes, it was Rossville. actually about 1 block from my home, she also passes by the local insurance agency. I think she was great, but I do agree with Simon, she will need to be able to sing other types of songs or she will get boring.

Song choice is everything...
Please pass this onto Amanda, if you interview her or have her contact info. I'm listening to Etta James right now and thought immediately of Amanda. Simon worries she won't have enough diversity. During jazz/classic/R&B weeks I hear Amanda blowing Simon over with Etta James' version of "I Just Want to Make Love to You." Good luck! We're watching out for you here in Arizona. Holly |

I have read somewhere that when Amanda was in high school she would sing with more of a pop sound. This was posted on a forum from someone claiming to have gone to school with her. So lets hope she's got what it takes to change up her tune/tone and not only ROCK but just kick a s s. |
