Every state should pass the Arizona law since the federal government won't do anything about the illegals. And no I don't support queers.

The problem is the terminology. If society wants to grants certain rights and privileges to two adult individuals of the same sex, more power to them. Just call it a 'civil union' and be done with it. However that same couple should not expect to leave the county courthouse, civil union in hand, and walk down the street to the baptist, methodist, etc. church and expect the minister their to grant them a 'marriage'. Civil union = contract granted by government. Marriage = contract granted by <insert deity here>.

Even though they would get the same privileges as married couples, they want shove it in everyone elses face by calling it a marriage. Disrupt the churches by making it discriminating if a pastor, preacher, or whoever refuses to marry them because of their orientation going against the beliefs of the church. If they make gay marriage lawful and a pastor refuses to marry a gay couple then his or her's church would be in violation of the state law and could be punished for doing so. This is just another step in the process of destroying our country.

I don't really care what the gov't thinks about it or what they ultimately decide is legal because the disadvantage to the general public is minimal (increased insurance benefits costs). The gov't isn't capable of dictating morality, only legality. But...homosexuality is a sin, albeit no different of a sin as coveting your neighbors wife or stealing a pack of cigarettes. The church can never be forced to recognize gay unions as right or lawful.

I say, to each his/her own. It doesn't affect my life in any way if gay people want to get married, who is anyone else to judge them for it?

God is God weather you believe in Him or not. Unfortuantly, for some people, you'll find out too late. I'd rather spend my tiny lifespan being called a fool by the atheist and self righteous than an eternity damned. But you're absolutely correct...to each their own. Just throwing that in there...people have free will. What they do with it is something they'll have to live with and answer for, not me.

I don't think it's right for one gay judge to decide, especialy against the majority of Californian voters who again gets screwed by the liberals.

This country was founded on the ideal of "by the people, for the people". What the people want doesn't matter so much anymore. What the lobbyist's want is what matters now.

I have never once stated that I am smarter than anybody else on this forum yet recently I'm a being barraged with personal attacks. I guess individuals who take the time to compose an intelligent response and care about using proper spelling and grammar are denigrated on this forum. Why is that?
