Well unfortunately we missed most of Amanda's song here0 in central Indiana since they were running a dumb "emergency tornado drill action message." It cut in right at the beginning of her song, then came back right as she got done.

It was a DRILL. And they had already run it several times before. They were running it about every 20min. It actually cut in twice during AI.

Saw some it on Fox59 this morning...she SUCKS!! Joan Jett should be PO'd that her saw was trashed by this "signer".

How in the he11 did the judges think she was great?? If that is the case, then the pick of this litter is a runt at best!

They are trying to test the emergency response system, wasn't just TV but Radio and local sirens. They need to test or run these drills so when the real thing happens all the bugs are worked out. 1, 2, 3 or 4 times, do it until you get it right. They are trying to save lives... Who cares if you didn't get to hear a dumb song. Maybe 1 day a well working system will save your life. Isn't that more important?

yeah, god forbid they try to notify people of a dangerous situation and save lives and you are worried about someone trying to make it big.

she is terrible to listen to and to look at. what is she doing on this show? if the only thing you can sing is growly rocker chicks songs, this isn't the right venue. this shows a serious lack of talent if you can't jump outside of a particular genre.

Just so you know, American Idol is whats known as a "work". The signing you see is real, but the outcomes are predetermined, just like pro wrestling. So don't get too worked up about what "happens" on these shows.

I'm amazed that she's survived this long on the show. I'd like to hear her sing something that doesn't involve angry rocker chick screaming/gargling. I'm not sure if I'm more horrified that she represents IN or that she represents us nurses, too.

What part of "it was a drill" dont you ppl get?? And they had run the drill SEVERAL TIMES ALREADY BEFORE AI EVEN CAME ON. Not to mention they had run REAL EAMs just a few weeks before with tornado watch/warnings and flood warnings. Just seems to me there would be a better time to test the system than during prime-time tv. But what do I knnow?
