There is the Ghost of BERGS woods who appears late September till the end of October. He only appears when the mist is forming from the marsh. He will often hide in the culvert under the road near-by to scare or trap unsuspecting hikers and unsuspecting passers-by.While often hiding in the woods he has left evidence of his past history. Relics of the olden days were often strewn upon the ground as a shrine to his past glory. He often had hunted the farm animals that grazed in the pasture as their bones were collected and then scattered on the floor of the wooded marsh area. Now that the farm no-longer supports a grazing herd of cattle or any flock of sheep he must look else-where BEWARE !
