Maybe now the City of Gainesville can bust out a few buck and fix some of these streets. The wife and myself just got back from driving around to look at X-mas lights, the City of Gainesville should be ashamed. Lets look at California street, from the Historic Depot west to I-35, every 50 feet or so there is a humped up patch from 20 years of sewer and water main repairs, the pavement is almost white from god only knows how many years of not being repaved. This is the main road through Historic Downtown to the Historic Depot and to the Historic Homes district. It dosen't look good for the city manager, city council and mayor to take millions of dollars out of the pockets of its residence and not provide some city services other than overpaid garbagemen and lazy cops. I'm not even going to go into details about the side streets, but they speak for themselves. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!
