Man walking on I-90 bridge

I always see him walking back and forth on bridge I-90 over the Washington Lake with the flag. I am always in the car, but I see him everytime I drive over the bridge. He carries a huge American flag, and sometime MIA flag. I am just curious what his story is and was wondering if anyone here knew. I admire his dedication whatever his reasons are.

This nut-case needs to be STOPPED. His one-man crusade is doing FAR more damage to the rest of us than simply serving his personal need to express himself. This has little to do with his right of free expression and more to do with KNOWINGLY jamming up tens of thousands of people's free movement. Traffic gets backed up for miles in all directions when this clown is out trying to save the world.. from Shoreline on I-5, to Issaquah on I-90. He'll sleep just fine at night after he delays a first-responder or aid vehicle attempting to get to someone in need. There's nothing wrong with showing one's patriotism.. just do it where you're not doing the eqivilent of yelling 'fire' in a theater.
