Silly post! No coach has to win. Winning is a combination of so many factors that there is no way a coach is ever judged by their win/loss record. THey will will most or maybe even all of their games cause they have more talent and strenth than almost if not all class 2 football teams. They play like a class 3 team which is good. Their coach could coach for any high school coach in the country and a lot of colleges, but enjoys working with the communities he loves. I admore the heck out of the young man. His assistant coaches are the greatest and work hard for their little stipends.

It is not all about winning in any sport, especially football. They will do their best and you will be amazed at their success. That is all that matters. Hard work and efforts pay off. They are on the track to have a very successful season. but, one game at a time! When they get to the final four and beyond, I have a feeling a lot of the jealous wannabees are going to be squeeling like baby pigs with a fat momma laying on top of em. Oops, gotta go cause I hear a baby pig squeeling right now!!

It is time to think like an American and not a loser. Just a tip, little Elf! We all know who you are and we are not laughing at you but sure feel sorry for your low self esteem. Ever thought about being a ref?

I agree with you! You are awesome, MV resident! Our boys will do the best they can and the coaches are doing their very best. We win because our teams outwork the opponents. Better school, better parents, better teachers, better coaches, better morals values and ethics. The final record tells the story and our record will be a record earned by winners. You can be a positive influence or be a loser, that is up to the poser posters who have a negative agenda cause they never got to play or their kid was too lazy to go to practice. I ignore the losers just like you do. That is why we are winners!!!

See ya in St. Louie the Sat. after Turkey day. I already have my reservations at the fanciest little hotel next to the dome! May even have a little party before the game and a huge blast after the game! Band, cheerleaders, fb team, coaches, directors, parents, fans, etc are all about winning cause we do our best!!!!!!!!!!

Your team will have a tough first match against Caruthersville, after that game you will see where you stand in Class 2. You guys lost your QB and RB from last year and those 2 will be hard to replace. You will see the best RB you will face all year in Caruthersville. I wish you guys the best of luck on the season minus the first game. Video highlight of that RB is here. Take in mind this kid was a 10th grader in this video only a Junior this year.

Im sick and tired of hearing ppl say stupid sh*t like he needs to be replaced! Cant u just b happy with the fact tht the LHS Eagles are a Class 2 power house? Ary hasnt won state and hes a hell of a coach (excuse my language) and im sure he would agree. Quit doggin our program shut the h*ll up and enjoy the season seeing new and old faces take the field. Try reading my post next time porterhouse69 Acklin changed our program to make it what it is now. 4 years with a record of 39-9 before acklin it would have taken 40 years to have a record like that. Acklins fine where he is setting record after record. Be happy Liberty isnt the SCA floormat anymore, regardless of whether or not he wins state im still gonna b proud because i have a little brother that makes the proudest older brother alive.

We may not win state. That is not our goal, anyway. Our goals vary but as a team our goal is to do our very best. Caruthersville will be a challenge but I know we are a better team. There is no "I" in team. Personally, I think we have the best group of winners assembled at one school. Sure, we will be disappointed if we lose a game, but losses teach you character, also.

Just thought I would share. We are taking this season one play at a time and enjoying our high school years! I hope that is OK with you.
