I know this is an old thread but its an important issue. Rex is still at large, and has not changed.

He is attending another church. He currently attends Genesis Church in West Plains. He also volunteers as a door greeter there.

I am all for him making his peace with God, but as a society, we also have a duty to see him brought to justice.

Verified

He was volunteering as a door greeter 1/8.

Genesis Church DOES do background checks on all potential security persons (Who watch the childrens areas and verify parents are the ones picking them up ect).

However with the past charges being dropped they might or might not show up in such a background check IDK.

Maybe a warning to Pastor Jeff?

I have no clue who this guy is but isn't topix the site where everybody yells "innocent until proven quilty" all the time. Yes, seems I have seen that a thousand times on here.

I don't think the authorities would give him a "pass" on something like that unless there was no case. Sorry, but those kind of case rank pretty high on a prosecutors list.

A person is "innocent until proven guilty" in the eyes of the law. That doesn't mean they are really innocent. If we take Rex at his word, he is guilty. He confessed. The prosecution couldn't make a case because the victim left town...no witness, no case. That doesn't mean he is innocent, it only means he cannot be legally guilty.

He is a monster. Another charge is in the works, by the way.

So let me get this straight. He confessed to a crime and just because the witness left town, there was no case? Ummm, I would suggest you probably stay out of things you don't have all the facts on because if this is your opinion, you clearly do not know all the facts. And no I have no clue who this guy is and really don't care. The reason I KNOW you don't know all the facts is because that is not the way the law works. If the state had a case against him, it does not stop because a witness moves. Sorry, doesn't happen. You see, there are these things called subpoena's. If there was a case and they wanted the witness to be there, they issue a sobpoena for that person to show up at court. Simple as that. Doesn't matter if they moved to Alaska, they would still be required to be in court or they would be held in contempt and put in jail themselves. So, are far as your story goes, no case would be droped because a witness moved. Thats not the way it works.

Please don't get me wrong. I have zero use for anyone who does things like this. BUT, there has to be more to it than what is being stated here. If everything in this thread and the one on the West Plains forum were true, he would be in jail, but he is not. It sounds like some of you have all the answers to what he did. If you know so much, why are you on topix and not at the police department? You see, thats what respectful people do. I don't think the Topix Police will do anything about it. If your goal is to have something done, you are going about it the wrong way and are only making yourself look like a typical topix gossiping idiot.

I was going by what was posted. It was posted that there was a witness. It does not matter if the witness moved or not. If the state had a case then a subpoena would have been issued. Happens every day, nothing new. Like I said, wouldn't matter if they moved to Alaska, a subpoena would have brought that witness right back here or they would go to jail themselves. Sorry, thats the law. If you really think someone can avoid being a witness or someone can avoid prosecution just because someone relocates, you had probably better think again.

He is a monster. Another charge is in the works, by the way.
And also, you claimed he had a record a mile long? Where, in Missouri. Ummmmm, no he doesn't, I checked. Traffic tickets.

You seem to know a LOT about what he does. How would you know another charge is in the works? Ummmmm. Makes ya think a little doesn't it. If it is in the "works" then it is under investigaion and those details are not public.

Like I said, I make no excuses for anyone who abuses a kid. If they really did it, lock them up and never let them out. But a lot of what you have claimed would make you guilty of defamation very easy. Your claims of a record a mile long as well as all of this other behaviour can damage someone. Unless proven, you could be held liable for any damage he suffers because of your posts. Then again, what does he have to worry about. This is king of all trash sites where anyone can get on here and make any claim they want without actually having a backbone. You are proof of that. You have such an issue with this person and will call him out by name while you hide behind a fake name. People like you are pathetic and weak. If you are going to say stuff like you do about someone, grow a pair and have the nerve to post your name when you comment. Otherwise, crawl back in the hole you live in, wait for your government check, stir that batch of meth you have on the stove and leave everyone else alone.

I have not said anything untrue. His record is more than what you will find on case.net . Sadly, he has no convictions, but plenty of complaints and arrests. If saying he confessed is libel, then why hasn't Rex sued the Mountain View Standard?

By the way, I do not make or use meth, nor do I get a government check. I'll consider using my name when you do.

I am not the one on here attacking someone else, YOU are. If you are going to get on a pulic forum, have just an ounce of backbone and say who you are if you are going to call someone out by name. You are a complete looser.

And for the record, I could care less about this man. Don't know him and probably never will. What bothers me is people like YOU who feel it necessary to come on a site like this, spread whatever trash you can (true or not), call someone out by name, yet cower behind a keyboard. He is in front of a church you say, you don't even have the courage to even put your name out there. Who is the weak and pathetic one? That would be you.
