If we get term limits I think that will do allot to cut spending. Politicians are afraid to make real cuts in spending where its needed because we have to many people dependant and the result would be them being voted out. Term limits will bring a certain amount of courage to Congress. Lobbyist come im many flavors. Its the one way for the voice of many to make a difference and be heard.
Omg I'm agreeing with you again. The world may be coming to an end as we know it.

Term limits are needed. I agree with NoLibs. But then again he did change his stance on who should have a right to cast a vote. If only Congress could learn to compromise and cooperate once in a great while.

all of you have the right to vote for whomever you think represents your core values. But be aware of this, if you vote for Obama, you will be RE-ELECTING a man who has never held a job in his ENTIRE life. Never even ran a Kool-Aid Stand. Doesn't know how business works. Held a state senate seat for a term, heldf a US Senate seat for one term, but never voted on ANY real legislative issues. His only job was Running for Office. He had no foreign policy experience. His greatest attribute was to CONVINCE you that he feels your pain. And You Bought It. A WHITE man who had these qualifications would have never even made it through the vetting process, BUT because Obama was black, he was coddled through the entire process. Now you people are so vested in him that you can't admit that you might have made that big of a mistake. To Bad. I fell your pain. I kind of hope he gets re-elected so I can look at you all in 2 years and say "YOU GOT WHAT YOU DESERVED< NOW LIVE WITH IT IF YOU CAN".

Now all those cry babies are trying to withdraw from the United States. They have control of Congress. What do you think will happen if they stop receiving government subsidies?

I'm glad he won too. It's always easier to rebuild after the house has completely burned to the ground.

I think you would like for that to happen, just so you could be smug about it. Wouldn't you like for the president to succeed? What will you think, if he does succeed?

NO ONE in Washington DC has any magic fairy dust to sprinkle on the Capitol building. Big Money remains in control just like they have for the past 40 years.

What's needed:

1. Tax reform, elimination of the IRS as we know it.
2. Term Limits for House and Senate
3. Serious campaign finance reform including elimination of SuperPacs.
4. Remove the lobbyist industry from Washington DC
5. Elimination of electoral college voting system
6. Quit sending our troops overseas without a declaration of war. Bring um' all home, now.
7. Tariffs on goods received from PROC; penalties to those who pack up operations and leave the U.S.

Many more, but that's a start...

I agree with everything except the abolition of the electoral college system. It was instituted in order to give states equal representation and to secure the autonomy of the states as separate entities from the federal government. Without it, small states would be completely irrelevant. Also, it is a system indicative of a republic, which is what we are. What your suggesting is a pure democracy which is nothing more than 3 wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner. I suggest people research this topic more thouroughly before jumping on the bandwagon for its demise.

NoLips, you are so entertaining!
Scroll down to the bottom of the page you linked to and you will read all about yourself! Just in case you don't know how to scroll it says,"Oh yeah, and everything in that bullshit you just read is completely and totally false. There has been no such conclusive study, and all of the “Finds” are based on public paranoia. Chances are good that if you are a conservative, you were empowered by this new find.
If you, even for a second, thought this find might be true, you are probably an idiot."
