I like some of the better restaurants here but there is usually a loud yankee group that thinks everyone else needs to hear their private conversation. If you are sitting 3 tables away and I can hear you clearly, you are talking too loud. And yes no one cares how you did it up north.

Then there are the loud screaming kids. Then there's the kids that run all over the restaurant screaming and the ones that stand by your table and stare at you. Not to mention the ones in the booth behind you. You might as well stay home because, by the time you finish arguing with the parents, your meal has been ruined anyway.

I "used" to think restrauants that advertised NO kids allowed would never get my business..... BUT... You bring up a lot of good points. There IS a time for everyone and when children are tired and cranky .... its time to change plans for the peace of everybody. Either schedule a late nap so all will be happy or stay home. It isn't enjoyable for the parents either(stop and think) when they have children who misbehave. Parents look like they ve been run through the wringer after an hour of trying to manage a tired cranky child. Just MY opinion. I don't want everyone to get their panties in a wad. Ive been there and done it with tired cranky kids and LOL tired cranky husband.
