Is it just me or has Hibbett Sports gone downhill? I went in the other day and they just stood there! I went in for a glove for my son and the 2 men just stood there talking and never asked me if I needed help. We left and went to wal-mart. Needless to say that we will never be back. Anyone else have this happen to them?

I've been in there a few times and I had good service. What happened to you?

I went in awhile ago and a young lady seemed very put out by having to wait on me. She seemed more interested in the young man she was talking to by the counter. They need more adult employees, not teenagers.

i agree. last time i was in there the teenage girl was busy talking to her friend (another teenage girl). i walked up to her and stood right in front of her for over a minute before she even turned to look at me...... and the things they were talking about should really not be discussed in front of customers.

What were they talking about exactly? If it wasnt appropriate, call the manager.

don't gripe here. if i go in a store and no one offers help i go find it! If they are rude, get their name then ask for the manager or the corporate number they have and call right in front of the person. One of two things will happen, either their attitude will change or they don't give a crap and will get fired. You spend good money at that store even if it is on sale and they are getting paid to help and not gossip

I worked at Hibbetts part time. The people I worked with were good people that meant well. I never worked with anyone that pushed a sale, and if we didn't have it we always gave directions to the Lockerroom. Hibbett's is the best place in within a hundred miles to go to purchase walking/running/comfort shoes to fit you. The prices might not be marked down, but find the store manager and he knows his salt in shoes.

Well evening if you ask for a manager they don't believe you. Ask for the District Manager or Main Office. I bet they don't either who knows who they are.

Wow! That was really immature Hibbett's Manager. I've never been helped when in your store. They seemed put out by my being there. I send my athletes to the Lockeroom. I'm glad I realized how much you don't care about your reputation or store.

Well I hate to get involved with this, but I need to clear the air. Every one on here should know people can post under any name they want. I am the manager of Hibbett Sports and I did not post under the name Hibbett Sports manager. My name is Matt and if anyone has any problems with my store stop hiding behind topix and come talk to me in person. I do care about my store and this town. Topix is a huge waste of time, and should moderate their comments better. Since anyone can post anything they want its hard to trust anything you read here.
