I work at a utility company in town and I always see vouchers from the Salvation Army helping people with their bills. So that is where some of the money goes. I agree, on some things they do price the items too high, but they put dates on everything so if it is past a certain date (say they've had it longer than a month) they will go down on it I do believe. I just know they try to get as much as possible for everything they sell - which is good in some ways, bad in others.

About 95-98, the SA was a great place to shop...cheap and nothing went out the door that didn't work. I believe a couple of guys named Dave and Jerry ran the show. They even had a contract with juvenile services for community service work. Dave and Jerry did wonderful things for the community; Thanksgiving food boxes, Christmas gifts for all. It was ran with dignity!
Sell it cheap...move it out.

if you go to the door in the back of the store an turn right an look to the right you will see a computer an a 21 inch flat screen look at the web page , it will be on ebay they look items you donate an price them the same as ebay seen this for myself , will never give or buy anything to them again talked to the state attorney to no surprise nothing iguess he needs more than one to do anything to this org. call him an file a complaint its the only way we are going to get something done. the poor cant shop there . only yankee's with money.
