They're kind of like that old toy, the "Slinky".
They're not really good for anything but it still makes me smile to push them down the stairs.

Maybe this is the problem: the Joke was funny, there are very educated people on this site and a clear cut case of GET A SENSE OF HUMOR- since you have none, this is great advise for you...and it is free :) see how totally cool some of us are here in Mountain Home? LOL

You have to understand why the joke is not funny. With the serious problems we face as a country and a society the conservative party in this country has been infested by actual schoolyard bullies as depicted in this joke, the very same bullies we remember in school, those who could not compete academically or athletically, therefore they had to make up their funny names and intimidate in order to find some sort of acceptance.

Nothing funny about a bully then, or now, or in politics, time to grow up…we don’t have time for children’s mischief.

Ben, good luck! You will not find intelligent debate within this forum, I have tried and have found no success, you will only find adolescent minded people who struggle to form a coherent sentence, let alone a paragraph.

Well i am far from a bully. In fact i detest them. I agree that our country is in dire straits. I refuse to lose my sense of humor however. Its all that keeps me sane.

You could have not have said it better! The libtards will figure it out when there is no more money on their EBT cards and no more welfare checks. Americans will go without and islam will prosper! Libtards CAN NOT be educated.

Sorry, it takes me a while to get on here to see replies. I would be up for a logical, educated debate as long as we could agree to no childish tactics or name calling. I would be up for that. I am firm in my beliefs, but I completely and whole-heartedly believe everyone should be respectful of one another.

Why fight when we are all one....what a waste of time. And are you all not a little late in the game to fight now anyways. If you truly are an educated person you know the truth regarding all. And the fighting is just game to the accumulated, manipulated system of tyrannical imposed rules and laws that are nothing more than stings on a puppet being held by puppeteer's that are right now drinking champagne and toasting laughing their ass's off at all the societal behavior they have manipulated from the turn of the century- you might want to investigate a group called travistock
, and so you are all hilarious to me. Maybe you should stop drinking the tap water, eating GMO foods and keep your hands off all the pill bottles- this would be a great start.... once again free advise...:)

I think there is a huge difference in fighting and a healthy debate. I'm not agreeable to "fighting" either.

I certainly agree. Seems to me that you cannot express a point of view without having a label attached to you in efforts to diminish your viewpoint. I would be great to have some adult conversation, the country certainly needs it!

Well I'm not a liberal...but certainly not a Republican anymore, they are now an embarrassment! I'm a conservative centrist, a pragmatist.

I take offence at your term "Libtard." I also disagree with your assertion that welfare is the root of our problems and I doubt you could make a solid argument that it is. It would be much easier to argue that "Corporate Welfare" has led to much more of our problems than a social safety net ever could.

Now with a statement as I just made it would be easy to call me a liberal, and again I am not, if you truly look at macro economics of a capitalist system keying on the the importance of a strong middle-class, my statement is a statement based on solid economic science with plenty of empirical evidence to back it up.

If you have to say "libtard" and blame EBT recipients on our country's problems, it just shows your lack of understanding and education on economics and corporate crime.

Our problems go deeper than blaming any one party. The entire system is broken.
The left handouts social programs in return for votes. The right hands out corporate tax breaks for the same.
We are detached from the constitution.
Politicians go to Washington under the promise of representing our interests to the federal government. What happens is just the opposite. They become sales clerks for the feds trying to convince us to do what DC tells us and pretend to like it. Im sick of their games.

I too am sick of their games, pandering to extremes of their political bases, yes that is plural, so I mean it is the Democrats and the Republicans who are to blame. And at this moment in time it is the tea party wing of the Republican Party that is the current fringe group to hold reasonable people hostage and needs to be put into their place, a fringe that should be told to try to listen and learn.

It is easy to blame Washington for the conduct of the entrenched politicians infesting our capital and our form of government. It is not Washington, we are to blame, we send them there.

I feel the time for reasonable has passed. The gop has been too reasonable and thats a large part of the problem. I share no values with the left and very few with republican party, in its current form.
The tea party is trying to reinstitute the constitution and im all for that.
Our founders gave us a set of guidelines that laid the foundation for the greatest nation ever to exist.
I am convinced that if we continue to abandon what made us great, we will cease to be so. In fact im afraid it may already be too late.
