Any one hear anything about our Prosecuting Attorney beating his wife Monday night? It's said the MSHP took him to the Sheriff and he said, "what am I supposed to do, he's the prosecutor!"

I seen him a couple of nights ago at Walmart and he had his boys. I really don't see Lori putting up with that though. She'd inject him with something while he slept. She was in her office on Tuesday because she is my ex- brother-in-law's doc and he was in the office on Tues. I'm pretty sure he seen her and not a NP but I'll ask him..

This is ridiculous! Jason is a good person and has never harmed me. We are both normal people and we are going through a difficult time right now. I would appreciate my private life being kept private--I think we all deserve that respect. I know that in this small town there are going to be rumors and that is just part of being a public figure. I find these rumors very disrespectful and find this even more absurd that I have to respond to this ridiculous statement!

Try not to let this bother you. Some people just have nothing better to do than try to ruin other peoples lives. They must not have one of their own.

I think there is some truth to this. Supposedly Lori had filed for divorce, Jason found out about it - they argued and the kids got scared and called 911.

But, if your look on case net, it appears that Jason filed for divorce on 11/19...and Lori is listed as "respondent". So who knows what is really happening.

What is sad is that two children were scared enough to have to call 911 on their own parents.

This is a great example for our prosecuting attorney to be setting for the people of this county!!

Know what is also sad? That people keep this going and these kids are going to have hear rumors like this and other crap. People really need to leave it alone. Lori has said that he didn't harm her and since you don't know what really happened; if anything; then its just that a nasty rumor.

because he's a prosecuting attorney and his wife is a md they aren't allowed to have disagreements? leave them alone. they are living their lives. show some respect for your fellow man even if they are more educated than you are.

From the Grove...I didn't say he did harm her, and I believe that he didn't. What I said was sad is that the two of them let their argument get to the point that it scared their children. There is no excuse for that.

And to come on...of course they are entitled to have disagreements...but again, when you involve children to the point that they feel they need to call the police, it is uncalled for. And, just for your information, I am very well educated, not only with a college degree, but also a master's in my field of study.

I am just surprised that this even got out with him being prosecuting attorney. I heard the story but what I heard was she did "try" to file charges against him....anybody else hear that?...hummmmmmmmmm

Sarah, I wasn't talking directly to you. just in general...

People would just like to think the worst of him because its him. No I didn't vote for him either, actually was against him. But would it have made a difference if John got office; the same kind of rumors would be flying about him as well, I suppose.

I am sorry for Lori and her family for having to deal with private matters that "all couples" deal with in such a public manner. Lori is my doctor and when I myself was going through a messy public seperation she went above and beyond her duties as a physician and counciled me and my partner. So be it for me or anyone else in this small town 2 judge. If people had a REAL life of their own they might not be so concerned about others.

Yeah great prosecuting attorney we have here. Look in the paper every week. People get off for anything. They will give them a sentence then suspend it and let them out. What a joke! I guess its ok if you are the bad guys..just go out and do whatever you want as long as its in Wright County.

People out of this county know more than we do. If charges are pressed it won't be in Wright County because of his position.

As far as Lori and the boys, I feel for you guys but you are going to have to get thick skinned. A lot will be said, a lot will be untrue. That's a public divorce in a small town. My advice to you is, Make sure you hire a great attorney and get your divorce OUT OF THIS COUNTY!! Moody is NOT a fair judge and he does NOT follow the Mo law's in his court room. Don't think for one monent he will be fair!

In the end the truth will prevail and the "good person" the "innocent person" will come out the winner in "true happiness". Money and power can't buy that!!

And that only happens in Wright County?

Yeah right!!! I'm sorry every place has legal issues.. Bother to wonder why the Volners are out of jail and that has nothing to do with Wright County. And believe me I'm not saying Wright County don't have its problems and so does MacPherson but its all over not just here...

I'm sorry but I really don't understand why the two of them getting a divorce is any of our business.

I didn't say it WAS our business! But it's here, on this site and people like you and me are discussing it. They are not the first divorce to be discussed by people in this town and they won't be the last. NO ONE knows the real truth but the two people involved, everything else is "hear say". Just like ALL the other issues on this site!! "Hear Say", nothing more!!!
Lets face it, If you check out whats being said on this site, your interested in the LOCAL GOSSIP of the town!!!
But it's just Gossip, nothing more!!!

evidently you have never had money cause if u had u would know money doesnt make life better it just makes being misserable easier. Money or no the heart still bleeds! The soul still feels sorrow and the people in ones life still let one down and sometimes even die. Haveing money doesnt make u any less human. Just like not having any.
