Why Do Grovers Attack Jere Gettle Baker Creek Mansfield Mo

Considering Jere Gettle is a multi millionaire,
I'd guess that he and Emile can take their sweet time
figuring out how to best run their successful heirloom seed business.
As for Jere's sexuality, until he self-identifies as queer or commits a homosexual act, he's not queer.
He may look like one to you,
but that doesn't make him one any more than the Sasha,
their daughter,
would say her folks have
a "cover up" relationship.
The very last thing Jere is running his business on is pride.
Hard work, trial and error,
mentoring, and his profound religous beliefs.
Get to know the man and his business before you condemn either or them.

Maybe you should have packed those seeds a little quicker
and you wouldn't be where you are. But,
instead you find yourself bored,
posting trash on a Topix trash website.
I've never worked there and I agree with nonsense 100%.
You can't put someone down for posting on this website when you're no better, hypocrite.

You grovers can't stand success.
At least baker creek is doing something productive..
Grovers are all about taking..
What do grovers give? Hate and jealousy..
Crappy bunch of welfare scum...
Do something besides running others down..

Proof is in the Pudding...
looks like Baker Creek is an on-going,
successful, viable business, not just here in Missouri,
but in other places around the world.
Attacking someone personally is so childish...
We get it,
you're a homophobe.
Sounds like you have a personal problem.

Not only a homophobe but a typical Grover. Personal attacks based on no evidence. So morally right they will lie, cheat, steal, and bear false witness to prove it.

Wow, very few people even know about the whole cat poop on the bed thing. When more details come out some of you will need to re-think your Jere can do no wrong attitude. You really should only comment on the whole truth, not something you just heard. This is America and freedom of speech is still allowed, even if you don't agree with it.

It is his business, not yours. They can do what they want.
Here's an idea -- start your own business.
Do not judge unless you've walked a least a mile in their shoes.
Does welfare make people lazy?
What's most to blame for making Americans grow more polarized?

That's funny, they don't normally wear any shoes! I do own my own business and the comments are opinions about their "business" practices. This site is for people to have free expression of their thoughts. Just like your thoughts about walking in their shoes and starting a business, just your opinions.

Viable business? If you only knew.....
Jere Gettle may have some good ideas, but there is no question it is the great employees
(present, past & soon to be past)
of Baker Creek who keep his feet on the ground & make his insane ideas work.
As for what the public don't know...
Well, I guess it's just a good thing for his business
they choose not to believe.

Well, it's about all these fu-ck-in jealous-disgruntled people here on topix who don't have a pot to piss in nor a window to throw it out of,

they are jelous as hell of the fact that Jere & Elaine Gettle have become multi millionaires by working hard over at Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company.

They are pissed off cause they are stil as poor
as JOB's (Jobe) turkey!
Huh wrote:

They are pissed off at Jere (pronounced Jerry) & Elaine Gettles success story.

They are pissed off because most of them are still on child support, food stamps, welfare & commodity cheese.

There's a measure of people who become envious & jealous of people who win the lottery.

In other words they are simply saying, why not me LORD?

There's a measure of people who are mental midgets-they have allowed themselves to become mentally handicapped and do not realize that......

anytime they are jealous of someone else's success ....
that just holds them back that much more.

I hope I was eloquent enough to explain my point.
I hope you understand.

The Holy Bible says thou shalt not covet thy neighbors stuff nor his wife....

but there is a measure of people who stil do that!

I hope you understand.
Thank You & GOD bless you.

Jere (pronounced Jerry) & Elaine Gettles of someone else's success
Her name is Emilee, not Elaine. Although some people refer to him as "Jerry", I know just as many who simply call him "Jer".

I think you are all crazy. I think the baker creek family has every right to claim what they have built because they built it. Even if they do have workers which idk about in the garden. It takes knowledge to grow a massive garden like that and without knowledge his workers wouldn't have any thing. Even a job. Think about that. I think everyone is way to judgey on here and people need to look in the mirror before speaking badly on someone else.

The people getting on here defending the Gettles are not really helping matters.
Take a look at how old the post was that you responded to. It was from way back in February and all you do is bring new attacks when you renew the old posts.

I buy seeds there to get heirloom (non-GMO) and am not interested in your disgruntled drama.

OP is just jelous of a successful business.

Start your own OP. Any internet business can sell worldwide. Better do it today before laws change.

Jere's a good guy. Emilee is beautiful. Simply beautiful, and sweet. I envy him in a good way.

Only bad thing you could possibly say is that when his parents sold out in Oregon they could afford to buy a nice farm of cheap Ozark land.. So, while he had land and a little bit of family money, he did start small and built it, through hard work and dedication. I don't think the average joe w/o no land or resources could ever do the same thing in the area on local wages, especially in a few years. but he did work hard and created something good to the area. So leave him alone.

the only problem I have with Bakers Creek is they are trying to get big..too quickly...I personally know a man who visited one of the companies growers..acres of tomatoes (heirloom) sprawling on top of each other...mixed variety...Not keeping your growers in check...could soon prove disastrous..heirlooms can, and will easily cross

Money is the root of greed. The organic people cheat, the non-GMO people cheat, the breeders cheat and use bad genes of dwarfs or mix varieties, they use chemical pesticides. Better to find a smaller operation that concentrates on specific varieties and selects the choice specimens to pass on the seeds. Not just a scammer getting greedy. Life is too short to spend the summer gardening some lousy tomatoes when you could use less effort for quality.

Heirlooms are an overrated gimmick. Who needs 5,000 varieties of tomatoes. A few in different colors, shapes, sizes, and flavors are alright. All you need is a good market variety with good taste, and desirable qualties. Heirlooms don't yield well or have good disease resistance, insect defense, and they often have other problems

Just be reasonable. Good taste a nice look, try to stay more natural and don't poison yourself with pesticides. Trying to avoid them and keep it all organic is nonsense.

I love Baskerville. Love their weekend festivities & their adorable bantam chickens, etc. However, my husband and I bought seeds and tomato plants there last year and were sadly disappointed. None did well except the gourds and cucumbers. We did do pretty well when we purchased a dogwood tree and Dahlia bulbs. Overall I would give the place a 10 on entertainment, 8 on flowering plants, but only about a 3 on the veggies. Will shop at a smaller nursery from now on for them, I'm thinking.
