Has anyone been to the new tattoo shop in town. I have been hearing a lot of good things about it. My buddy got a tattoo down there and he was very happy and said the guy was nice and the shop was clean. He said prices where not bad at all. I'm glad someone decided to finally open one. Think I will have to stop by and check these guys out.

Bunch of degenerates.

Nothing skankier.

This of the Christian thing to do, and getting tattoo marks all over the body is not on the list of things to do.

Sign of a degenerate society.

Rock band Megadeth members are known to have no tattoos. Dave even made a song about what he saw happening to America back then when he recorded it: Breadline

About the American westerner: "used to call the shots, now he cant connect the dots...getting closer to his maker."

Um your wrong. I know some good Dr.s who have tattoos and a good friend on state troopers with several. I my self have a few and work for a very good job. You would be surprised just how many people in high places have them. You can't judge a box by its cover. " let he with out sin cast the first stone" can you cast the first stone?

They would be part of the problem here in America.

Yes I can cast stones about getting tattoos as the bible records God telling his people not to mark up your body as the heathens do. This is why most who get tats are not Christian. It has never been the Christian thing to do or part of western Christian society. We have all sinned, that doesnt mean to keep doing so and call it good. Thankfully I never got a tattoo but if I had I would be warning others not to do the same. Whats done is done.

No jewelry either. Piercings and jewelry are the way the heathen would wear their money to show how much they were worth. Very worldly.

pamphlet tells more about why God did not want his people to do these worldly things-

Many of these things creep into our society more and more with pop culture from the tv.

Some of the most tattooed must be Latin immigrant gangs

I'm no gang member and a proud American who works hard, never done a single drug never been In trouble with the law and enjoy beer ever so often. My Bible says god forgives all sins if you truly ask for forgiveness. Except one. He is my judge and no one else. Many interpret the bible how it best suits them. Me I know god hears my thoughts not just my prayers. When I die as long as I try to live my life as close to his wishes and not that of mankind I highly doubt he will cast me to hell for tattoos. You are allowed your opinions but I won't judge you. Just cause you don't have a tattoo does not mean you may cast the first stone. If you think so your lying. We all sin. Its up to us and god to square that away not how the human race may think.

Ok Klink, so you are telling me that if you get tattoos, piercings or anything marking the body, that we go to hell? That is really funny to me! I am 38 year old female, I have a tat, on my leg that has a cross! With my childrens names on it! I always wear pants so there are not many ppl that know that I even have one! But I guess that means I am going to hell?

That's sweet that you are a believer and care about doing the right thing. I hope God's grace is wide for us all who do their best to follow him, but there is a lot of sin in the world today due to people allowing it. I can only go by what is written. Look at a passage about eating swine:

"They that ... eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, said the LORD." (Is 66:17)

Most Americans who call themselves 'christian' eat pork all the time, yet God says they will all be lost. Why? Because God has a people who all down thru history following his word. Its not about the actual eating of the swine. God earlier told us that swine and other creatures are scavengers - not for food. If they were God's people they would know this. But they follow false doctrines of men.

The same applies to tattoos; its just not the way of God's people:

God plainly says of His people: "They shall not make ... any cuttings in their flesh. They shall be holy unto their God." Leviticus 21:5, 6

Lev 19:28 "You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks on you: I am the LORD."

The same could be said about Christmas. Its 'baptized paganism'. Getting a crucifix tattoo will not make it okay. Many of the Latin gang members have a crucifix. It is in support of their false Catholic religion, not Christianity of the Bible. The x-mass has crept into all churches. One reason i'm in no denomination. I find they are all corrupt. The Bible is the only thing not corrupted.

Next argument before someone post is to claim all the OT was 'nailed to the cross'. But this is not so. We are told exactly what was nailed to the cross from the law of moses - it was the sacrificial system of Israel that came to an end. The rest continues to be God's law for his people.

Going to hell for a tattoo? If i had one and repented and did not celebrate the fact or get any more then we are told all is forgiven.

I have eaten pork (and much more) and since repented and do not do it any more.

KLink, you are committing a sin your self. Casting judgement your self. You are not God. You have no right to tell others how they are sinning. People change what the bibles word to what they want to believe. Even using Scripture to try and validate their point. Fact is there is only one unforgivable sin. If you deny you have been filled with the holy spirit. All other sins can be forgiven even those who claim to be of God yet try to cast judgement.

believing in a false god is called delusional, there is still a million dollar prize for anyone who can prove this so called deity to be real, it's a scam, nothing more. weak minded fools who want so badly to believe in anything, religion, all religion is based on hate speech and lies. you nuts profess god only to condemn fellow faith followers as if you follow this crap by the rule, we know better, when you say you're part of a cult, you better believe we observe you, your behavior alone speaks volumes about how corrupted you are. none of your cult groups agree with each other but you all talk down the other while trying to elevate your choice of faith. you're all hypocrites. why do so many want to follow a number of books rather than just being a good person to begin with? no prayer has ever been answered, not one, no proof. it's a fairly tale that adults continue with even when in their hearts they know better, shame on you that push hatred onto others. your god has been dead longer than you've been alive. silly fools.. for factual info go to: www.atheist.org for real truth no spin.

i love when you jesus freaks fight with each other, one minute you're hating on gays and pointing to scripture then the next minute you see a guy with some tattoo that only he knows the meaning of and you tear the guy apart with again the bible. could it be that this is all for naught? the problem is when you allow others to tear you apart over say your tattoos without confronting them over it, you just open yourself for greater areas of their disapproval..if we know that judging has little merit why do some of you do it anyways? even the ones who don't like when others do it to them, these same people turn right around and do it themselves.(judging) religion teaches hate and division.. stop the hate.

Hey Klink maybe u need to go back and read ur Bible some more, it also talks about NOT JUDGING OTHERS AND THALL SHALL NOT CAST THE FIRST STONE.So what ur writing here shows me ur judging others, ur not God so u do not have the right to judge others or tell them what they can or can not do or wear, why? Because ur NOT GOD!!! Only he shall judge and decide someones fate NOT YOUUUU!!! and Besides that you are quoting from the old testament, we live in the new, and God put Animals on earth to provide for us. so get ur facts straight before u come on here preaching to others.

Me I don't like tattoos. But I think having a shop here in our little town is a nice idea. Just bring more variety to this town. Slowly this town is bringing new ideas in. Giving people a reason to visit. Heck come here eat a dinner get a tattoo then go watch a movie. I won't ever be there for a tattoo myself but I sure hope they get lots of business and stay open. Its time for some positive growth in this town and I am all for it. Good luck guys.

KC, we are to judge what is sin and be separate as long as done so by what is written. Some just reject what is written, and so there is great division. However, just quoting the Bible is not judging or hate. QIC, the non-believer, thinks to teach from the Bible; as no authority.

The OT/NT covenant is a common misconception and where the preachers have failed the people telling them there is no sin/works/legalism ect ect. This is completely untrue. God's law is entirely the issue of salvation - who we serve & obey.
-
"Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?" (Romans 6:16)

Mt.19:16 "And, behold, one came and said to him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said to him, Why call you me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if you will enter into life, keep the commandments. He said to him, Which?
Jesus said, You shall do no murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother: and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
-
The disciple asked, which law, not knowing if Jesus meant the law of Moses or God's 10C law (ten commandments). Then Jesus names a few to explain God's law remained.

This is found throughout
-
Mt.5:19 "Whoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
-
So the pastor teaching the good people they live under 'grace' to continue in sin will someday answer for this false 'doctrine of men'. Grace we receive when we repent of some sin, when otherwise the 'wages of sin is death'(second death in the lake of fire). But the law remains. No law, no need to repent for grace from a savior on the cross.

Grace is similar to the police issuing a 'warning' for a violation. He could give a ticket to be sentenced guilty, but instead gave a warning.

Then where are tattoos in God's 10C law?

The First Commandment, in case you are unaware, says to "have no other gods." (Ex 20) If God's people are told not to mark up their bodies - the temple of God - then the people doing this are not following God, but some other system.

The old and new covenants are exactly the same, with the exception of the sacrificial system. Paul explains what was 'nailed to the cross'(Col 2:14-17, KJV) the 'handwriting of ordinances' then describing yearly sabbaths w/meat & drink offerings; the sacrificial system of Israel.

You see, the sacrificial system of Israel was to atone for sin, where the Christian asked Jesus in prayer repenting of some sin they have done. The Hebrews would repent of their individual sin then the high priest would offer a sacrifice. This entire sacrificial system was symbolic of a coming Messiah who actually forgives sin, the final sacrifice upon the cross that we may all have known Him.
-
Galatians 3:24 "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith."

Heb.10:1 "For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect."

"Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;" (Mt 27:50)
-
Jesus had told the desciples that Jerusalem would be surrounded and the Temple destroyed. This happened in 70 AD. Those Nazaren Christians remembered the warning and were able to escape. This fulfilled event is a recorded historic fact.
