Thinking about using him for custody... input?

He's an attorney, will have his own interests, career, etc. at heart.

So, it's about what "last name" you are dealing with. If your family is more prominent in the community, or you have better 'connections' withing the community, judge, other attorneys, etc. You have a better than fair chance. If not, and the other party has more 'connections', etc -- bend over.

Oh, it wouldn't hurt if you went to a high-profile church, play the poor me card to prominent members in the church,-- especially if it gets messy, and doesn't seem to be going your way...

If you really want to see what he's worth call the Office Of Chief Discliplinary Concil and ask if he has any admonishment's or Discliplinary filings. If he does it's probably a safe bet he tried to screw other clients or pull some other type of shananigans with either the Bar, Court or maybe the adversarial party. Good luck as it is your decision and yours alone in who represents you!

How would someone posting from Ohio know about someone locally?

Did I say I knew him? I said call the Office of the Chief Discliplinary Counsel......apparently you can't read or maybe just can't comprehend the content of the words!!!! That particular office is where you go in Missouri to see if an Attorney has been disciplined or dis-barred. So I was offering a suggestion to the previous poster genius....I have no opinion on Mr. Stinson as of yet.

I did read your comment jerk. I was wondering why You would be posting on a Missouri topic? But I guess you probably don't have anything better to do then.

Do not use that man. He likes to get drunk and go to the bar and tell everything you discuss with him. Worst experience of my life. Sometimes, you get what you pay for. It is worth the money to get someone who wont blow your case.

I used him. Don't have a lot of money. Not known in area. I will simply say. We got custody. What he does outside of his office like going to a bar is fine with me as long as he is not talking about cases.

Defensive? Yes, in that you said I don't know the said Attorney. When I didn't say anything about said attorney. Don't know what I'm talking about? Sorry dipshit but I do know what I am talking about! The Office of the Cheif Discliplinary Counsel is the de facto place to find out if they or the Missouri Bar has admonished or otherwise disciplined an Attorney. The Attorney is under no obligation to disclose such items of interest to clients unless they affect said clients or the attorney is ordered by The Bar to disclose to clients. If your attorney has been discliplined then they have at some point violated the professional conduct rules as set forth by the Missouri Bar Association, therefore you can make your judgement if you wish to retain them after hearing their record. By no means does it actually show that competence but, if you put it all together with reviews/recommendations/referr als/discussing and conducting an interview/consultation. Then you may have a better picture of your attorneys competence. As Yoda would say, "Loser I may be, with me you are"!! So you understand; you are posting on the same thread as me, so you are just as big of a loser as I am!! Or another way, since you are so dense, I'm rubber; your glue; what bounces off me sticks to you!!!! There's your child like behavior answered!! Are you content, dipstick? See above about pathetic behavior......that is all.

I posted on here because I live here and I find your comment kind of funny. Anyone can copy straight from a book or the Internet and try to sound smart. That is most likely what you are doing. I just wonder why you care so much about an attorney in an area no in the state your IP says your in? Do you have some sort of personal vendetta against him? Do you know of particular complaints about Mr. Stinson? Maybe you plan on using him? Now you quote Yoda? That's funny and goes to show you really have no life but to troll other towns topics and post things. I still think it's pretty pathetic. Maybe you should post on your own topic forum for your town.

Maybe you should maybe mind your own business. I did not say a f'n word about Mr. Stinson. You are a crazed lunatic. If I want to write on a thread on a Topix on a towns Internet you can't do a dang thing about it! I did rewrite what came from the Internet genius, it's called information dispersion! That's why the Internet is there! To help get information to people! Lol so what if I quoted Yoda, if you don't like it gouge your eyes out with a hot spoon and then you won't have to read it!! Maybe I don't have anything else to do but post on here, quite frankly that's none of your f'n business because nothing I said was defamatory or inflammatory. In fact I would consider it sound advice! So that people aren't screwed by their lawyers!!! Or think they get shamed after they fire their lawyer and testify at court then go on to file bull crap cases against the other party!!!

I have never gotten defensive or went off the deep end and I was just asking you a question. My goodness! Someone has a lot of time and energy to act big and bad and get all upset about a simple little question. Now add "f'n" for effect? That makes you sound so tough doesn't it?

I agree with your post I have attended court hearings with family the judge, prosecutor and attorney have the cases already pegged. More people should call the bar assn. and chief disciplinary counsel because they do not follow the Missouri laws in their court room.

In the past, I used Mr. Stinson for both crimminal and civil court actions, He gets the job done! and as with anything, money talks and BS walks, Laws are ALL about the mony huny, if ya think it is about justice or about what is fair, please put down the fairy tale book and get real.

And Messilion OH, I see you posting here too often, stay in Ohio.

Sweet baby Jesus; don't tell me what to do! I'll post and talk however I f'n want to!! It doesn't make me tough! What makes me tough is well...just that...I'm tough because I'm tough! I don't need words to make me tough dipstick! You insinuated that there were words that were in my post that weren't there! You cannot say you asked a simple question as the questions you asked we're not simple and I will defend what is insinuated about me anywhere, here or otherwise! You need to stfu and learn how to read and comprehend words that are in the American English Lexicon...this will better your understanding of me telling you to go physically sit upon a rod and do the unmentionable said rod with those sphincter muscles you have!! I won't stay in Massillon, Ohio if I don't f'n want to! I live in a free country and can do wtfever I want as long as I abide by the rule of law!! I'm pretty sure there isn't a law telling people where they absolutely must stay at any given time!! I hope your my neighbor when I come back to Mt. Grove, which with the grace of God I know will be soon ;@p

Your so tough man. Lmao. There's a house next to me available so maybe you can move in there and I can see if your tough. You certainly don't like it when you are told what to do right? Probably a person that is so insecure and so paranoid you feel the need to try and use big words and act tough to scare people. Probably grew up getting picked on and now you feelthe need to pick on others. In other words, intimidate people so you can make yoursel feel big and scary. Why don't you not bother moving back here and stay in Ohio? Apparently you were here once and moved so either you were ran out of town or the people of this town shamed you into moving. Just stay there!!
