I thought Larry was the director, and worked out of the Seymour YMCA. Now that's a nice Y. Go there if you can!

Larry Long did not retire, but in fact moved to Virginia. Here is the web article concerning this information.

be sure to search the articles records, as they have recently updated it. He is the new director for the Boy's & Girls Club in North Neck, which is apart of Kilmarnock Virginia.

Mr. Long was going to be fired. One week before he was fired he heard it was coming and resigned. Go to Missouri Case.net and look up Larry Long, AKA Larry W. Long from Seymour and 1 ymca dr. in Mtn. Grove. You'll see how he handles finances. He isn't much different from Shirley Short the ex-director of the Mainsfield and Mtn. Grove Housing Authority.

his opinion wrote:
The board called him in and he was told he was going to be fired or he had to resign, he supposedly had a brain tumor and had it removed so he said, but he had no scares on his head and his head was not shaved. this all happened about three weeks ago. Alot of things were not adding up with his work.
Yes it is true that he had a stroke, it is also true that he had some type of brain surgery that could have been fatel. I am not to sure how the timeline of events happened between job resignation and illness. Still it is unclear as to what else happened, wish we all really knew.

The Y is a good place for the kids to hang out after school. The people that work there are very nice to the children and often do not charge them because they no they can't afford it and have no where else to go. Maybe we need to create solutions to the problems and leave people's personal lives out of it.
