"Do not judge..., do not judge..., do not judge..." seems to be a chant for meditation here on Topix.
But, for the sake of the living, do we have your permission to first observe (Persons A & B made three or four or nineteen poor choices and killed themselves), next to draw conclusions (those choices led them to leave their families and friends with tragedy and loss to deal with forever), and finally to internalize a lesson we have learned?

Please tell us we have your permission to draw some conclusions here.

We might become wiser. Then when we ourselves die violently on Hgwy. 67, it might truly be an "accident". For example, another bolt sheared and a wheel came off. And in that case,....

And many other writers here have pointed out that if grieving family members and true friends want to pick up messages of condolence and true sympathy from friends, they will certainly not come to Topix.

So please, please, leave off the "do not judge".

Just wondering if these people had insurance or a house or something that can pay medical bills for the two innocent victims? Should be in the police report. Does anyone know? Will her husband keep all four kids or just the two that belong to him? Thisis a terrible station for a young child to be in. Is there any effort to help the youngsters?

Firefighter - don't get worked up about things you read on here. This is no place to look for or expect compassion. Just ignore it because its not really important.

I have something to say about you here on Topix since I do not want to confront you face to face. Your exposure to early years of education and your choice of media since then have not informed the dim recesses of your unformed mind with light.
If you are the dumb sh*ts sporting the confederate flag, I am talking to the right people.
Here it is: the Civil War was not fought over a noble ideal of preserving the individual states' rights over the rights of a central government.
It was not a noble ideal at all. The truth is that certain states were led by rich, loud, very powerful slave-owning citizens. They were willing to fight over $$$$$$$$$$ They fought to keep their right to break up families and own other human beings and treat and work them like animals.
So we see you coming with your confederate flags. We can tell you are pieces of sh*t at a distance.

The home churches of those babies will probably set up a fund at each of the banks. If they do and announce it in church and publish it, people will want to help. Can the money be held for education purposes at age 18?

I don't know how any of these people involved in this tradedy lived their lives but if you read the Bible and know it says not to judge then you should also know it says in Matthew 12:33 ....for the tree is known by his fruit. I know the two that were killed (not really them, but their parents)but I don't know anything about their personal life.

The truth that hurts. Chris was with a married woman, who had 4 children, the youngest of the 2 were 18 mths and 3 mths. Chris was with intent breaking up a marriage and destroying a family. While her husband was working to take care of his family...Chris made him a widower and their children now have no mother to tuck them in, kiss them goodnight, to hug them when they are sad or protect them from harm. Saturday night Chris killed their mother and injured 7+ innocent people. I find no honor in that. I feel sorrow for Chris' Parents, but I hardly think that Chris' Mom will be offering to pack lunches or see Shana's children off to school when the time comes. My guess is that there will be no trust funds set up for her children in leiu of flowers either.
why is it when someone dies everybody want to take up money what is that going to do?its not going to bring them back its not going to make the pain go away for their family. the four kids will get a social security check the state will take care of them provide foodstamps just like now . and as far as soyna packing lunch for these kids its not her place to.she didnt make shana get into the car with chris and leave her 4 kids.when chris &jenny where little soyna was home with them tucking them in at night after working a full time job to provide for them not throwing them off on someone else to take care of them while joe was working to go have fun with another man.chris didnt make shana get in is car and how do you know he was going 100mph were you in the car with them do you know something didnt go wrong with his car?

Thanks. Then you DO give us permission to observe what happened and to draw conclusions! The "do not judge" crowd baffled me.

But now you are telling me that my own back porch must be free of pine needles before I notice that somebody else's might have the last 10 years' garbage on it? That might lead to problems because I think we desperately need rules and town ordinances. It is a slippery slope we travel along.

What's wrong with being judged? I'm constantly being judged and it's quite harmless. I reserve the right to judge anyone anytime, whether or not anybody chooses to judge me.

The important thing is that almost none of those doing all that judging have the power to impose punishments with their judgments. As long as that's the case, let 'em judge, let 'em judge, let 'em judge.

Basically I agree with what you say about the Civil War. Perhaps many Southerners said they were fighting for states' rights.(We can say things and throw up a smoke screen to hide our true motives.)

But what was this "right" that the Confederate states wanted to preserve so desperately? The right to own slaves and keep their "beautiful" Southern way of life.

At what price? How low can we go for money?

Boys, the Confederate flag does say a lot about you. It is all ugly.
