This is false...although I wish it were true! I cant believe people in Mountain City actually voted him back in for another four years. Just shows how dumb people can really be.

1. Mountain City is just one small part of Johnson County.

2. The majority of the voters in Johnson County -- 60%-- voted against Mike Reece.

What is really appalling is that Tennessee and Johnson County allow candidates who are overwhelmingly rejected by the voters to be declared the winner in elections.

Reece 40%
Gentry 32.4%
Hoak 25.4%
Cornell 2.2%

32.4 + 25.4 + 2.2 = 60%

You get the same result by subtracting Reece's 40% from 100%.

I assume you're one of the idiots who would like to see the Electoral College done away with as well?

You know what they say about "assume".

More importantly, the electoral college -- as well as most of the rest of what used to be federalism -- has been essentially castrated and no longer serves the function it was designed to serve. Do away with it? No. Restore it? YES!

Exactly WHAT needs to be restored? I thought it worked for you in 2000 even though Sandra Day O'Conner had to help it along.

It just goes to show how many dope heads there are in Johnson County. They are they ones who voted him back in, and they are bragging about it. They wanted someone in there that they wouldn't have to worry about catching them. They got it! He isn't going to do anything but sit behind his desk.
