The kids did not even get trophy's this year. I guess Billy Mack made to many truck payments with little league money!

Little League in Johnson County needs much improvement, but the amount of money a family has nothing to do with the kids playing time. If your kid can help a coach win, your kid will play!!

Well, what do you think Mack Stout did with the County's money when he was road superintendant?? Could you actually think his son Billy Mack would be any different????

I agree family money does not matter as far as playing time goes. It is the league management that needs to be replaced. If you are not girls softball you do not rate!

Well now can anybody do a better job than billy did ? Any kid that wanted to play played . The league was great these year . Remember the last management it was a joke . Billy does it for the kids not his self it takes alot of time to run the little league . Where did the money go ? The teams ,the feild , power does anyone knows how much upkeep cost . The feild looks better these year than any year that i can remember . Billy does alot of these work his self . These year the coaches and billy worked together to make it the best league in years . Do you really want the last management back in there just how much money was missing than . What did they do nothing . Who really made the money in the last management . Billy don't sell the league any thing he gives and more than his time he gives his heart .Good job Billy Mack

You can't be serious! The minor league field was mowed by Clifton Worley. The concession stand was sold out half way thru the year and never refilled. Stock for it was asked for repeatedly but none ever came. FSB major league uniforms numbers were coming off. The concession stand at the pool is terrible. After working concession one night I never purchased anyting that was not packaged. The crock pots were beyond nasty and do you thing anything was stocked to clean them with? Billy came in and got the money out of the register and put it in his shirt pocket. No money was counted, no receipt signed, nothing... I know that their is expense and overhead. But surely with the onion sales,$500 sponsership money, registration fees there would be enough left for kids a $5.00 trophy. I would like to see a report of how much was taken in and the expense that were incurred. That might satisfy all the talk that it pays his bills....

I worked along with Billy Mack and I know exactly what went on. Billy Mack spent countless hours of his time tyring to ensure everyone had what they needed. He himself went to Sam's wholesale and purchased all the food and brought it back for the concessions. I was there when he came back with teams uniforms crammed in the whole truck bed and back seat of his Chevrolet. Huh, maybe that's where the money was going when he put it in his shirt pocket. Billy sponsered 3 teams this year himself. One baseball team, one minor league softball team, & one girls little league softball team. That's 1500.00 that came out of his pocket for 3 team. Maybe instead of accusing Billy of stealing why don't you shut up and sponser a team, do it for the kids! You seem to have enough time to write crap like this, spend your time a little more wisely and help coach a team, maybe work the concession & wash the crock pots. Further more, JCLL has a treasurer, his name is Greg Reece at FSB. I'm sure if you would like an account of Little League money, he would be more than happy to assist you.

The children do not have to help a coach win to play as there is a little league rule that all players on a team must play or the coach of the team that dose not play a player must forfiet the game.Watch the little league games on espn right now and you may be able to learn some of the rules.

Anyone who wants to know can come to a JCLL board meeting and listen to the Treasurer's report. (Board meetings are posted in the Tomahawk at least a week ahead and are held on sunday afternoons) JCLL is not broke, in fact it is in better shape at this time than it was at this time last year.

Obviously every kid gets atleast 1 at-bat and atleast 2 innings in the field. When the person asked about playing time I assumed they meant playing the entire game. I appologize for not clarifying. I have complete confidence in my baseball knowledge.

My Boys played in another league, we had too pay 180.00 for each child to play, the cost of sports is going up all over the country, Johnson County Little League is a real good deal, but you get what you pay for, Please attend baseball meetings it can only help the children, our future is the children, we should work all year to raise money for the league, and there needs to be more voluteers, many more.

For your info I did work concessions lots of times and scrubbed the nasty pots. Thanks for letting me know who the treasure is, I will ask for a report. Does it not make sense that when you take hundreds and hundreds of dollars that you would ask for it to be counted and a receipt written for records? If you don't like my opinion, to bad. I'm not the only one who feels this way. Lots and lots of people have questions.

My son has played baseball for 7 years now, through t-ball to now in the majors. I feel that he has always been treated fairly and got to play his share and we sure aren't rich. I don't know Billy Stout personally but I do know that he did work for the league. With the team sponsers and all the concessions, registration fees not to mention all the signs around the field that cost sponsers to hang and onion sales, it would hard to imagine the league would be broke. I love my son and love to watch him play a sport he loves, and I am fortunate that I never missed a game. Im my opinion the only wrong thing I know that Mr. Stout done was allow a gentleman (if you can call him that) who assaulted a young 15 year old girl at a game,in front of our children, to be allowed to come back on the premises. Even though for reasons I don't know the man was not charged by the police, if that is the way he conducts hisself around children and I know this to be true I witnessed it, I don't think he should of had the privledge of being there. And I even thought well maybe it was a one time thing but it wasn't he cursed and threatened another mother just a couple of weeks after that, but yet he was still allowed to be there. I was told he was a personal friend of Mr. Stout and by no means can he control what anyone does but he should of stepped up as the president, the one who is suppose to be doing this for the kids and see that no child would have to see this kind of incident but he didn't. I was actually afraid to even take my eyes off my son the rest of the season for the fear of what he might see and that should not be the case at a Little league field. And I read the other comments and my son hasn't recieved a trophy either. But he has had a good coach that really was there for the kids to learn baseball and and have a good time

Why didn't the police do anything ? If the police didn't billy can't he would have to prove it . As mothers and fathers someone should have done something who seen it and why wasn't more done ?

More wasn't done because the 15 year old girl was from Cherokee Park Youth Center. People look at these children like they are trash.
