Are you a Christian that loves God? How do you show your love for God everyday?

I know I want my son to call, so I think God wants his children to talk to him.

I pray alot. I thank God for what he does for me.

I would have never survived life without God and my big brother Jesus,
When I have worried how I would survive until the next paycheck, God provided.

Are you sick and tired of your life of sin and evil?

Are you ready to forsake everything and live for God and only God?

Most people need help and can only find it by faith in a higher power, certainly not by faith in family or friends who disappoint or betray them.
However, God means different things to different people, and my idea of God is not one who smiles if I "show my love for Him" appropriately one day but frowns if I did not do it quite right the next day.

And when you die he is going to cast you into hell for not fearing and obeying him.

You make Him sound like a 10 year-old. Shame on YOU.
This marks the end of my "conversation" with you.

Elle, I believe that holding grudges hurts the "grudge-holder" worse than anybody else. That doesn't mean that you should let those People back into your Life to hurt you, again, if they really hurt you badly once. It just means to not dwell on it and to let go of it, for your own good.
People make mistakes and sometime we perceive them to have made a mistake, when they actually didn't or, they did not mean to hurt you nor do they realize how badly hurt you are.
I believe that you should give that Person every chance to make amends, if the hurt wasn't intentional and you can only find that out by communicating with them. If they hurt you and they aren't concerned enough about it , to try and find out what they did to you, then that means that they did it intentionally or that they just don't care whether they hurt you or not. In that case, eliminate them from your Life, but don't hold a grudge against them. If you hold a grudge, you'll never get over the Hurt. But, if you let go of that grudge, you can go on with your Life and eventually neither they nor what they did will be important to you, anymore.
Some People just have such high expectations of another Human being , that Nobody can live up to it. So, if somebody was not what you expected them to be, maybe you were asking the impossible. but, this much I can guarantee you...you were not all that they expected you to be, either, no matter how good you were because, what you wanted them to be was probably not what they wanted to be, and vice-versa. Again, because what you think is exceptional and value in yourself and others, is probably not the same thing they find exceptional and value in somebody else. It's just Human Nature because none of us are exactly alike, we are all Individuals, with different views, different values, and different ways of seeing everything and everybody! And that is as it should be. It's when One can't recognize and accept that, that they feel so betrayed and disappointed in other People that maybe haven't done them wrong, at all. But, we think they did!

I drop a valentine in the mail every day. Addressed to

God
Heaven

I never put postage on it and the USPS never returns it to me.

How so, exactly? Cans of sardines and pork&beans just show up on your pantry shelf, even though all your doors and windows are locked?

Not at all. Are you?

If so, you might want to try some new and different sins.

If you knew what you were talking about, you could say in in 1 or 2 sentences. Truth is usually very simple if the speaker is not confused.

I don't agree with you concerning Obama, but I'm "with ya" on the conversation being over with poster#1.
He/She is one of those radical Christians.
My post clearly shows that I am a Christian and just look at poster#1 response to my comment.
As far as telling people they will burn in hell because they admitted to not "living at the foot of the cross" everyday of their life, that proves he/she is a radical.
It is written in the Bible that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that mans righteousness is as filthy rags.

All Christians sin and we know our wrong doings and we ask for forgiveness and try harder with the help of God.

If poster#1 thinks they never sin, God is going to have a lot to say to poster#1 on judgement day.

Thanks for an interesting post and a sweet one, too! The betrayed and disappointed was meant to explain the need people in general have for what many ministers here call a "personal Savior". The institution mankind has set up to help us in the spiritual area is called the church, and I am all for it!
I do laugh and fuss at us churchgoers a lot though, and I do believe in separation of church and hate---yes, hate. With a poorly educated population, we hear hate spewed even from the occasional pulpit. And from behind a hand in whispers from congregation members to each other.

You probably can put your own in an underground bunker though to satisfy your blood lust and be master of your universe. Remember to come up and go to church several times a week. It makes you feel big and strong.

I see all these atheists and very few Christians, why are you all hiding, show your faith to the world, if you have a diamond, don't just hide it in your closet, boast about it so everyone can know! If people at work, school or even online do not know you are chirstian, you are not christian at all! Explode with the love of the lord my friends!:D

I disagree! Most of the explosions these Christians have are not explosions of love.
