Two subjects arrested on burglary charges

On October 24 at approximately 4:30 a.m., the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched by Johnson County 911 to a possible breaking and entering in progress on Industrial Drive. The location was given as well as a description of two males and a vehicle at the scene.

The vehicle described was soon observed by deputies on Hwy. 421 near the Hwy. 167 intersection. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle. The two subjects occupying the vehicle were identified by the description of the two males that the caller had reported at the B & E on Industrial Drive.

Both subjects were then arrested and brought to the Johnson County Jail for booking. They were then interviewed and confessed to two other B & Es from earlier this same night in which property was taken. Property from the earlier B & Es was identified and located in the vehicle that the subjects had occupied upon arrest.

Bond is set for $52,500 respectively for each subject. Arraignment is set for October 28.

Charges are as follows on both subjects:

Timothy Turnmire, Cold Springs Rd., Aggravated Burglary X 2, Possession of Burglary Tools, Vandalism, Especially Aggravated Burglary.

Matthew Richardson, Eastridge Rd., Aggravated Burglary X 2, Possession of Burglary Tools, Vandalism, Especially Aggravated Burglary.

Thank you. I know the Richardson but would like the age of Turnmire.
Wasn't there a truck stolen in the Cold Springs area about two weeks ago?

Unless they have an employment contract that says otherwise, they can be fired any time for any reason or for no reason.

The dispatcher referred the situation to the City Police because of the address in city limits?

Or did the phone call go directly into city police? How is this done? Thank goodness, it sounds like both dept.s were on their toes. Who stopped the vehicle---city, or sheriff's?

A city and county unit stopped the car at the same time. I would say they was fired because they are still in jail and cant show up for work.

Tim Turnmire has always been a hardworking good dude. This is way out of character for him. I have not talked to him in a while, so I do not know if it's a drug problem that led to this or not, but I hope this leads to good for him in the long run. 1085

He would surely appreciate someone saying something good for him.
On the other thought there, there is a "Rumple" guy on here who says drugs are great, uses every day, and anticipates no problems.

I hope they stay in jail, they broke into a older lady's home and took her tv, jewerly, jewerly box and all, even dumped the drawers from the bed room out in the floor. They kicked the NEW door in. It's really sad that these 2 boys would do that to an elderly lady, what if she had of been at home? It's all for drugs.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Pisces

Family, friends and in-laws are all hard to please. It is better to please yourself for once, dear Pisces, than to bang your head against a wall. You need to relax and get in touch with your own feelings. Do not hesitate to speak up for someone you care about. Someone may try to curtail your freedom. Set them straight and do not give in.
