So I have been experiencing a few of the early pregnancy signs for example: breast/nipple tenderness, constantly tired, cravings of foods that i never eat, headaches. I took 2 pregnancy texts so far one was negative an the other was defective. Maybe Im too early to tell. Also Im diabetic but I maintain my sugars at a descent level.. Any opnions?? Please help
Wondering

Go to the health department. They will do a free pregnancy test if you have low income or no insurance. Best to find out soon. Take care.

Pregnancy hormone can be detected in your body at about two weeks gestation. You should take a pregnancy test first thing in the morning. Your symptoms sound positive to me. Take care of yourself.

It seems early for the food cravings, and how will that work out with diabetes? At this very early stage, for your health and the future of your family you should probably take the morning after pill like the other poster suggested---and also have a tubal ligation done. Diabetes is a cruel disease and can affect the baby in the womb and tear up your own system in the process.
People try to paint diabetes in the best light and take the attitude "I can control it" but the fact is that it is a killer and cruel to live with.

Maybe she wants to have a baby. Insulin is safe to take while pregnant. Why should she get a tubal ligation done? She never said her age. You have to be 21 to get that operation and it has side effects.

Well for one thing she is obviously no good at managing her life. Doesn't know if she is pregnant, doesn't know how to find out, doesn't know what to do if she is. Really on top of things I would say. With diabetes , which is a lifestyle disease, I would say she is likely overweight and has a bad diet and probably doesn't exercise. Don't know if she smokes but in this County odds are very good that she does. We don't need more babies on welfare. She did not say if she is married or in a committed relationship. If she is then why isn't she talking to the supposed father. Is it a relative or is she even sure who the Dad i?. Nope, definitely not ready for motherhood. Flush it.

... and she turns to Topix.com for life altering advice. Definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Again I say, flush it. Make sure it can't happen again.

for one thing you can get scar tissue from the surgery which can cause endometriosis. Pcos is likely to develop. Risks your Dr. doesn't discuss with you. Plus it's not 100 percent effective.
