Not necessarily. Kids take drugs that are legal like tabaco because they think they are being "grown up". If we take away this "grown up" stigman from it, maybe less teens will try it and bother with it.

But with ciggarates it is making it harder. Ciggarates are Only for smoking addicts, not for anyone else. How much do you hear of deaths happening from alchol addiction?

There is little nicotine ( the addictive substance in Cigarettes which are legal ) in Marijuana which is not in most states

I have yet to hear an argument against one that could not be said about other things that are legal.

I have no desire myself, I don’t use it, and don’t plan to, but it seems strange to me that it is illegal when there is nothing about it that could not be said about things that are legal.

I have never seen the point in having laws for the sake of having laws alone.

I believe smoking in general should be banned. And actually Marijuana is still harmful and causes addiction and smokers might be tempted to try it.

Of course you do, control of other people’s behavior is paramount for some folks

Ciggaretts should be made illegal too. I never said just marijuana.
People who are trying to get off smoking would want it illegal so they are able to resist the temptation.
