I am interested in sales at your Hoover location. I've got sales experience in furniture for several years and also furniture office experience. Does anybody know where to send a resume?

Ashley Furniture is probably a good place to work, but I wouldn't recommend anyone buy anything from their stores if they have to order it or have any problems with it after the sale.

They have no customer service and no one knows anything but what their policy tells them to forward to the customer.

Their furniture is not the top of the line but it's priced as right under that.

Ashley isn't that great of a place to work. They are just as forthcoming with thier employees as they are with thier customers, which is, they give them the run around, never giving them the straight truth. Management is inept, and training is shoddy. It's a shame, because they are promoted as some wonderful all-American company, when in all reality, they are poorly organized and operated.

The furniture is reasonablly priced, however, this company lacks the basic skills in customer service. I read customers
comments before making the decision to do business with this
company, most of which were not favorable, and decided to follow the old adage " believe only half of what you read"
I guess I believed the wrong half!!

With almost 20 years in the furniture restoration and repair buisnes I have seen just about everything. I have resently accepted a job as sevice manager for ashley and I could not be happier. The furniture is well build and under priced for the average consumer. I personly work with ower customer care on a day to day basis and I know not all customers can be happy, but we strive to provide ower customers with the best care humanly posible. We look forward to serving you.

I worked in sales and management for a large furniture retailer for several years, and I always had great experiences with Ashley. I cannot speak for working for or buying from one of their own stores (I find that when a manufacturer has their own store, there are often problems, but I digress), but I can say that the furniture was well prices, good quality, and the factory reps were fantastic.
