Obviously, the Fracking process is good for the environment and it is giving major boost to the American oil and gas drilling and making America the great provider of oil and gas to the world but this is bad news for the America hating Obama and his liberal traitors that want to see the self destruction of America. Furthermore, corrupt vicious Liberals led by New York Governor Cuomo are fighting the American gas and oil drilling in New York State with lies about fracking process effect as they push New York State to bankruptcy which is good for the liberal haters of America and their agenda of trashing the Constitution.

gasland was an extremely distorted "documentary", designed to rile up the green whackos.... someone who knows nothing of the issues will see a short clip of a guy lighting his tapwater on fire and believe the scenario cooked up by the filmmaker...

Hard to imagine anything more dishonest than starting a post with the utterly unsupported and absurd claim that "obviously, the fracking process is good for the environment."

Totally discredited everything else you said, although that was basically unncessary..

Too bad you can't offer any kind of rebuttal beyond your own biased opinion.

Environmentalists want to put safe air, water, and environment above commercial interests. Obviously you think money and energy are more important than people's lives, which is typial of the right.

the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission investigated three wells portrayed in the film. two of the wells had zero gas from oil and gas development. one had a mix of natural and non-natural gas, and the landowner was compensated in a settlement. the COGCC offered a technical review of info in the film, but the director declined. the EPA has not been able to point to specific problems due to fracking.

Which doesn't mean there AREN'T any problems, as we've just recently begun using the process without any serious testing or understanding of what the long-term effects might be.

The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission? Seriously?:)

<quoted text>Matt Damon’s Anti-Fracking Movie Financed by Oil-Rich Arab Nation
A new film starring Matt Damon presents American oil and natural gas producers as money-grubbing villains purportedly poisoning rural American towns. It is therefore of particular note that it is financed in part by the royal family of the oil-rich United Arab Emirates.
The creators of Promised Land have gone to absurd lengths to vilify oil and gas companies, as Scribe’s Michael Sandoval noted Wednesday. Since recent events have demonstrated the relative environmental soundness of hydraulic fracturing – a technique for extracting oil and gas from shale formations – Promised Land’s script has been altered to make doom-saying environmentalists the tools of oil companies attempting to discredit legitimate “fracking” concerns.
While left-leaning Hollywood often targets supposed environmental evildoers, Promised Land was also produced “in association with” Image Media Abu Dhabi, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media, according to the preview’s list of credits. A spokesperson with DDA Public Relations, which runs PR for Participant Media, the company that developed the film fund backing Promised Land, confirmed that AD Media is a financier. The company is wholly owned by the government of the UAE.

Google it yourself next time you stinking stupid idiot.
I don't see any evidence that the financing had anything to do with the content, but at least you managed to back up your wacko claims for once. Congratulations are due for that, even if you typically play the jerk and act like it's my responsibility to prove YOUR points for you.

As Chevy Chase would say,'Thank you very little.' ;)
