They need to turn the lights off until the turning lanes are put in place. The good ole courtesy rule works better than the light.

Sorry, but the traffic authorities know better than you, as does the police dept and city council. The lights are in place because you don't know how to properly handle your turns, and you need to heed to the light programming put in place for your protection. If traffic is slow it's because you are not properly following the traffic signals when they change. Pay attention and keep things moving, then all will be resolved

At least they should clean-up the mess they made from putting in the stop light. How long does it take?

Who knows, I would like to think this is temporary because of the flags marking utilities around that area, and that they plan to expand or add turn lanes to help. I now realize nobody gives a crap. But hey, at least we get to stare at that eyesore of a 'house' next to the light for 5-10 minutes on the way home! Can you say crack-den?

If by "good ole" you mean trashy pieces of crap with zero self-respect I think I'd agree with you. I love the way they let the American flag deteriorate on their front porch - really patriotic.

Don't be so nice, what need to say is......the nasty bitch on main street. You can cross her but be sure you have your back covered.
She spends our tax dollars like a drunken sailor, no disrespect intended for our fine service men and women.

Whoever made the statement " the red light isn't going away" is wrong.

We're back to the starting point before she, the Mayor of Mt Washington, insisted on making the change. Same status, waiting in long lines, wasting gas and time.
Had she listened to the expert from the highway dept, that it was a waste of tax payers money, maybe that tax increase this past January could have been avoided. A the same time, lets not give her all the credit, she had plenty of help from Belcher.
More wasted dollars by an unqualified person.

Shepherdsville City council resolved the traffic light issue. Notice how it's functioning in its most appropriate settings?

I'll have you know, we don't pick up our pay checks. They are direct deposit.

The town was a nicer place 15 years ago before they let the cattle gate open and 8 thousand new residents flooded the area. What nice people that was around sold their property for way more than it was really worth and moved away. Now most of these properties are what we call underwater not worth what they was purchased for.Brace yourselves cause a nice round of foreclosure is coming to a neighborhood near you soon. As for the light it was needed years ago. Frankly there has been a blight of attitudes in that town but times will change again soon. Those that judged will be judged.

Sorry, a lot of "us" nice people are still around. The change came about because of what's called supply and demand. Those like you who feel they were screwed, must have missed out on taking advantage of the situation.

Also, if you wouldn't keep voting some of these same individuals into office, the real success for the area would come about. It's hard to turn down $200.00 a hour, just like it was hard not to open the gate.

Who's responsible for the blinking light? What a joke. No true Engineer would ever make that mistake.

What a waste of tax dollars!
