when you say 'moncure family' do you mean richard will be back cooking?
is it safe to buy a gift certificate from there, i.e. will they still be in business to use it?

You got me confused with someone else. I never mentioned the Moncures. I just said I hope they open with a new chef.
Any chef would be better that what they had.

I agree with your Dad...we love the Happy Clam particularly when Richard Moncure is the head chef...yummy! Have loved their food since they were renting the building where Dockside resides.

The restaurant is reopening. Tommy left the Moncures high and dry and with a bit of extra debt from my understanding. When it reopens it will be under the management of "lil" Richard Monocure with quite a bit of input from Richard.

I thinkk under the old management some of the food changed in taste due to where it was being ordered and may have not been of the highest quality. I'm hearing that Richard is going back to how things went when he was running it full time.

I've seen his car there every day for the last week or so now, so I feel that it will be back to it's old ways soon.
