If the majority of those pennies were 1982 and older,he'd get MORE money out of them by melting them into ingots and selling the raw copper at a substantial profit.Just....don't get caught doing it! Pre 1982 pennies are almost pure copper.1983-current are zinc clad with 3 mils of copper.
