I will miss Miss

I will miss Miss Dottie Rambo. She could have been possibly the greatest gospel singer/songwriter ever. Always remember we've got too much to gain to lose. We will always love you Dottie.

God saw the World was in need of Anointed poetry for The Gospel's sake so He "kissed" this earth with a female King David.
Dottie Rambo filled that mission.

It saddens me terribly to hear about her death. She was such an inspiration, another Job story, praising God no matter what her circumstances. She's a beautiful person. She's singing with the best of them now.

There will never be another one like her. She was a great inspiration and will be sadly missed. She touched so many lives. My family has known Sis Dottie since she was a child and we followed her through the years. She's smiling down on all of us. My prayers are with Reba and her family.

Since early childhood I have been truly blessed by Dottie's music. My brother and sister and I formed a trio when we were teen-agers and we sang many of her songs, the most popular became "Getting Ready Today", which was very often requested at our church. I know she is in the arms of the Saviour, whom she wrote about so many times. Our prayers and condolences go to Reba and her family.

I was so sorry to hear the news of Sis Dottie's death. I have known her all my life, and grew up listening to and singing her music. My mother even though was very feeble, wanted to go to see her in concert every time she came back to Kentucky. I know my momma and daddy welcomed her into heaven. What a inspiration she was to everyone and we will surely miss you. My prayers are with Reba and the entire family. God bless you and be with you.

Dottie Rambo was such a lovely person, who loved her fans as much as they loved her. People would drive for hours to get to her concerts.(my family for one!) I just feel like her friends and fans who could not make the trip to Nashville for her memorial services were cheated, out of watching her funeral via internet. If the family wanted a private service that would be one thing- selling her memorial service for money at a later date is tacky. Dottie would not have wanted it that way. Still, Dony and Reba, I'm sorry for your loss.

An authentic person. I loved her music from a teen-ager and always will. Her song, "Come Spring" was perhaps the first song I ever heard and fell in love with her and her music then.
