Im telling you the fallowing information for your own safety....... take it for what its worth!

yesterday evening i was out on my canoe laying some trout lines on our countys lake....
i was on one of the far ends of the lake near rose hillroad... by all the cat tails... if you know where im talking about.... if you know the lake well at all then you also know the water begins to get very shallow there..... note- i was still in the deeper part of the lake slowly makeing my way to the shallow end.... as i reched down to rebate a trout line on the bank, i had laid the day before.... i felt a THUD! my boat suddenly rocked back and forth, i didint know what to think about it at first i turned around to see what may have cossed this action but nothing was around me.... i just assumed it was a large snapping turtle or carp... bumped into my boat... as a began to put the chicken liver on the hook, a few moments later i felt the same THUD! just a little harder and more powerfull this time! this time when i jerked my head around to see what was going on the water beside my canoe was whipping violently back and forth, sort of like thousands of shad shakeing on top of the water.... i leaned to the right side of the canoe... because i must say i was rather frightened at this point and out of nowhere a big snake like tail reached out of the water and slamed into my canoe... snapping it in half instantly... im under water by this point... terrified! as i pop my head up out of the water to catch my breath and struggle to swim twards the shore line.... i turn around and see the giant tail sweep through the air agian..- it was atleast 18 ft. long! and then it slamed into the murky water nearly 3ft from me... i made it to the bank and managed to grab ahold of some loose brush and what not to pull myself ashore, and when i turned around and scooted my but further onto land, i see this creatures head rise from the water... it had along neck pro...10 ft long -from what i could tell- and a smaller head-- around the size of a football shaped basketball.. then it gavce me a quick glance one of those- im sorry looks- and whiped around, have it one big swush and its massize body leaped into the AIR! it was pro the size of a larger pickup truck and slamed rather gracefully into the water bellow it some what like a dolphine would--- it was monstrouse!!!! blueish green in color... im not saying this creature is dangerouse ! but it very well maybe-- it attacked me... inwitch thats what im assumeing and it may very well attack you aswell!!! AVOID THE LAKE AT ALL COSTS! it reminded me of what the lochness monster would look like, come to think of it thats pro. what it was!!!!!!

Not sure if I should believe you... but there had many odd things happening around here. It's almost as if this whole county is cursed. If you had a picture, maybe I would believe it. But then, it would be hard to get a picture when you are in danger... so yea... first the yeti, now this? What's next? A faerie attack on us humans? Beware of the graveyards just so you know.

You know they ain't not telling what you might see in the lakes, woods, etc.... these days. Dangerous to be out in the night or day by yourself. Here in Tennessee they let out about 50 barrels of rattlesnakes in the mountains. I saw a picture of one that a man had killed. It was about 6 and half foot long and really huge. Things are growing bigger and bigger these days. I won't dare to go into any of these mountains here. No telling what you might run into. I think before the end of time gets here, things will enlarge. This person telling the story about the lake may be telling the truth. But, as far as the Yeti, I don't believe.

I believe you. I was fishing off of the bank around two years ago. They had just released some small cat fish into the lake. What I saw along with my sister and my son, was around 12 feet long and has spikes on it's back .I thought it was an reptile of some sort. Then I said well it was surly a large log.I didnt't believe my eyes.

I don't believe that first story, but my dad swears on his life that he saw something 6 or 8 years ago while bank fishing at Linville. He said he saw a couple of guys running toward him, so he grabbed his gun. When they got to him they said they saw something cutting through the water. Dad thought they were on something, or were trying to rob him or something, but sure enough some big creature came through, he said he shot at it and it kept on going. Maybe someone let a gator loose or something?

Maybe we could really build this up into something. I saw a thing not long ago on one of the cable channels about this lake in New England that supposedly has its own American version of the Loch Ness Monster. Maybe we could turn this into a tourist attraction...."Come and Spot Jethrene, the Monster Reptile of Renfro Lake."
