To prove this point I bet every family that has a child with treatable leukemia but is dying because they do not have the money for a bone marrow transplant goes to church and prays every day but the innocent child still dies.........
There are a dozen Child based treatment center around that will treat any kid with treatable cancers free of charge... Shriners Hospital in Lexington will take on Any Kid free of charge if the parents can show they do not have the income... Same with St. Jude's and many others across the country...

Yep.. they might die of exploding bellies from my observations while walking through Wally World.... I saw 3 women get out of a car the other day and I would swear the grill on the car smiled as the springs let it pop up off the ground... Had to be a 3/4 ton on the hoof got out all at once...
STOP STOP OH MY SIDE HURTS FROM LAUGHING.
But in truth, show me one person who starved to death and I will show you a person who threw away food rather than give it away.

Hmmm, I just did not know that. I knew the Shriners hospital treated burn victims but did not know they did more. And this is where my charitable dollars will go.

Same with almost all the teaching hospitals like UK Hospital... UK will admit any kid with about any medical issue if the parent cannot afford treatment... I know of several kids that receive or have received long term treatment at UK ... My big charity thing is McDonald House... While the kids can get treatment those with low income just cannot afford to be with them during the tough times ahead... McDonald House provides a place for the family to stay locally for free so they can be there when the kids is having to go through the toughest times of the young lives... If everyone that just went through the Micky D's drive through would just leave the coin change they could house the families of every kid in treatment across the nation...

No matter what not one soul on this planet can say how or why we are here... Still I think it's quite profound that one Being still sets this world on fire... 2000 years later...

did you see the news stories about the people at the Supreme Court praying for the overturn of the affordable healthcare act, which they call Obamacare with hatefilled emphasis? i was amazed and delighted by what CJ Roberts did in finding a sensible middle course.

That's pretty arrogant of "God."
I so appreciate it when people emphasize that the Biblical God is not a nice guy - rather than claiming to know it does not exist. If we were sure we did not know and would never know, and if people said we were taking a risk in not believing, then it would take some courage to say," but that God is not a nice God and I would not want to worship it even if it existed."

The sin was allowing Satan to mislead Adam and Eve. God's messenger proved that not all humans will kiss ass unless force to do so by torture or death. Adam and Eve gets a break from God and Adam's children pays the price for Adam and eve gullibility.
not sure what you meant by God's messenger, and not sure what you meant by getting a break from God. the punishment was not deserved even by them, let alone their offspring. the whole story is horrible. people who believe it and think it is a fine thing, have no moral compass.

the Lord (if one means God the father) is not trustworthy. Imagine any other boy asking his father why he was born, and daddy saying, so I can have you tortured and killed in order to appease my bloodlust to punish sinners, so the sinners can get by with murder if they believe in you and me.

Right now in the US there are 200 Million people that claim to be Believers in God... Right here in Knox County there is 78 Congregations and about 100 Churches ...
If People are Starving it would mean Religion could give a crap..
But Reality is No One is starving in the US unless it's their own fault or the fault of their parents... Our Poor people are for the most part over weight or obese... Anyone that is actually starving can get food anytime they wish... If a kid is starving it's because its parents are spending their food stamps for crack, meth and booze and most of those claim a Religious Belief... Eighty percent of farm bill's $100 billion annual cost now goes to food stamps so we are spending 80 Billion bucks a year on food stamps and most of those calling for that amount to be cut are Christians.. Most of those that claim Not to be Christians want the US to spend more (I'm not one of them)...
You can try to bolster your own self ego by using the poor as an example but if you were actually Honest you would admit you do little to nothing to help the human condition of any one but Yourself...
I favor restrictions on what food stamps can be used to purchase. no soda, sweets or unhealthy fats, nothing that is shown to cause cancer or diabetes or obesity. let them eat vegetables! also I prefer food programs for children, with healthy food provided. I do not trust many parents to what is best for their children, and do not want to pay people to feed their children bad stuff - whether it is bad food or bad faith. and i do consider myself a liberal by my definition. it does not mean permissive and unduly-trusting and overgenerous. I also do not want my money used to bolster bureaucrats, or religious groups allegedly administering good programs. the second violates separation of church and state, and the first is a way of taking too much responsibility off of people. however, throwing someone in a lake and telling him to swim among sharks - which is what our current robber baron capitalist economy does to the untrained poor - is not the option.

Lucifer was a cherubim angel or high ranking messenger of God. So Satan was in a sense like a vice president or secretary of state. Very influential among lower ranking angelic senators, congressmen and more so with humans dominated by a theocratic government.

The getting a break part was in reponse to YAA belief the adam and even repented of their transgression and are in heaven now with God
because they were not under the same covenant that his offspring are today.

In other words God save Adam and Eve to heaven and screwed the
offspring to a life of hard labor, disease, war, famine and the threat of burning in hell for all enternity if you do not located the right cult and get saved.

While I don't think welfare is evil, I do think it is one of the most destructive concepts you can place on a group of people.. It destroys the self esteem and causes dependency on others to an extent that it limits those that are getting it, They find themselves under the totalitarian rule of those that control them through such programs...
