1/3 A former real estate agent who cheated six low-income tenants out of a federal relocation subsidy was sentenced Thursday in federal court in Minneapolis to a year and a half in prison.
Floyd Hedgepath pleaded guilty in March to one count of mail fraud.
"What you have done is really a rotten crime," U.S. District Judge James Rosenbaum told Hedgepath. "You were to assist the victims. What they would have gotten was a house and instead they got aggravated."
What Hedgepath did was a variation of flipping, in which houses are bought and then resold quickly for ...

Well I agree, there are many people he has ripped off. I heard he married this woman and moved down here from MN and was over charging everyone and he eventually lost his business, guess it didn't boot him out of the town, IDK why he would stay, he lied and cheated everyone.

I know Floyd. He is or was married to a woman named Mary Elizabeth. I used to hang out with them then all of a sudden she called my neighbor, told her a bunch of lies, and got her mad at me, and then I called and ask for Floyd, and she told me to never call her house again. I was drawing SSI back then and he even did something to get it cut out. These people are awful.

I've Known Floyd for 12+ years, and have had nothing but GOOD expriences with Floyd. He has worked for me & I have work for him many times & all have worked out good. Floyds conviction was from not knowing the law, NOT from trying to rip off the people that he got house for after they got turned down by every other loan agency, Floyd LOST 540,000 dollars. As for Dustin, I know your Mom, there are some things I like about your Mom, but she made Floyds life a living hell. He changed his whole life for her, including moving from MN to KY because she made him, he took better care of you then you real Dad ever did.

she made his life a living hell? he is the one with bipolar dissorder... one day he would be a fine then later if i even had the tv to loud he would holar, cuss, threaten... he made OUR lives a living hell. and im sure he didnt rip people off, just didnt understand the law, i wonder what law it is that he doesnt understand now, because he is STILL ripping people off... and no he didnt take better care of me than my real dad, i would rather have a dad that isnt there then have one that threatens to hit me if i forget to clean my room... you say you worked with him, i did too and i witnessed FIRST hand what he did to people. you say you know him, i lived with him, i went through hell because of that man. and if floyd is "good" as you imply then why did he cheat on my mom, why is it that his own PARENTS wont have anything to do with him? why is it that he has been divorced so many times? that does NOT sound like qualities of a good man. atleast my real dad didnt do any of that.

he is the one with bipolar dissorder...

If medical records were public record you would read this in his.

Narcissistic personality disorder is a condition characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance, need for admiration, extreme self-involvement, and lack of empathy for others. Individuals with this disorder are usually arrogantly self-assured and confident. They expect to be noticed as superior. Many highly successful individuals might be considered narcissistic. However, this disorder is only diagnosed when these behaviors become persistent and very disabling or distressing.

Complications:

Vulnerability in self-esteem makes individuals with this disorder very sensitive to criticism or defeat. Although they may not show it outwardly, criticism may haunt these individuals these individuals and may leave them feeling humiliated, degraded, hollow, and empty. They may react with disdain, rage, or defiant counterattack. Their social life is often impaired due to problems derived from entitlement, the need for admiration, and the relative disregard for the sensitivities of others. Though their excessive ambition and confidence may lead to high achievement; performance may be disrupted due to intolerance of criticism or defeat. Sometimes vocational functioning can be very low, reflecting an unwillingness to take a risk in competitive or other situations in which defeat is possible. Individuals with this disorder have special difficulties adjusting to growing old and losing their former ?superiority?.

There's no one in Rockcastle County that has known Floyd for 12 years because he didn't come to this county until 2002. That would also make the above writer a liar who says that he worked for him for 8 years unless he is talking about in MN. But that couldn't be true either because his license was revoked as a real estate dealer and he didn't work for anyone else that long there. As for being put in prison because he didn't know the law, that's a lie too. Anyone that really knows him, knows that he knows the law and uses it for his own benefit. He also cheated his wife out of her personal belongings that was obtained from before their marriage. The woman he is with now is surrounded by things Regina's children gave her as gifts too. Also, he went all over Mt. Vernon telling people the life he had with Regina was the best life he had ever had and I am one of the witnesses to that. Also, I know from Regina that Floyd kept trying to get her back AFTER he had already moved another woman into his house...even a year after Regina left. Regina never told her because she was not out to get the woman back. She said she felt sorry for her because she knows what she's having to live with. I also know from a reliable source that Floyd has went bankrupt twice and it was BEFORE he ever met Regina. In fact, according to my source that has actually seen the papers, Regina has proof that when she left, she only took 1/4 of the child support money that was hers and left him money in the bank. He then went all over town saying that she took his money. However, not once was that ever brought up in the divorce proceedings because Regina could prove it was not true. I know two people that have worked for him since he moved here and both of them say he cheated them and they will never work for him again. So, Luck, whoever you are, you are a liar and too many people have seen how the truth came out in Mt. Vernon already anyway. In fact, if you keep trying to lie, more will be exposed because this thread will keep going on and on as people he have cheated find out about it and tell the truth.

Yes, he has hurt people in our county. I know of a few myself. My suspicions are that MN Man is him or his wife because nobody else would say that about the amount of money. Sounds like him and his big exaggerations.

If my sources are right I think that "Liar" worked with Floyd in the late 90's. That's when he cheated on wife #2 with wife #3.
