A few years ago, when I was going through a very difficult time in my life, I went to a few counseling sessions in Bro. Mike Bryant's office. I now have the highest regard for this man. I also believe that his wife is a very good woman. If I lived in Mt. Vernon now, I would definitely vote for him. To have someone with his caliber of integrity and intelligence as mayor, would be a very great step in the right direction for a town still very close to my heart.

You got the wrong man!!! He hasnt worked at Presidium. He's retired from the state and from the sherrif's dept in Rock Co. There is no better person, morally. He is a great man of God, along with his wife, who is a wonderful lady.

While I'm not generally a Topix surfer, and am certainly no contributor, someone shared with me that this post was out here, so I thought I might just take the opportunity to clear up any confusion.

First, "wrong one", thanks for the kind words regarding my parents who are, as you say, both "great" and "wonderful". I appreciate both your recognition of them and your confidence in them. By the way, I agree that they are both great people!

Secondly, "shark bait", I am Michael Bryant, II, son of Mike and Carol Bryant of Mt. Vernon and I did work for Presidium as the Site Director for their contact center operation in Somerset. I worked there for two years, supporting the growth of that organization from about 75 employees to over 700 employees. It was highly stressful, cost me many precious hours away from my family (including my beautiful wife and three amazing children) and eventually became a less than attractive value proposition for my family and me.

I left Presidium in August of last year of my own free will having left behind a blemishless record of service, including not a single hint of some ridiculous notion of having committed any form of harassment or wrong-doing.

The same two people that "wrong one" so graciously complimented, taught me long ago about the value of respect and integrity both in my personal and professional lives. I have never forgotten those lessons and have never abandoned their truth or their practice.

The correct spelling is "politician" - if you look in the dictionary, next to that word will be a picture of Clarice covered in grease.

Hurray for Bryants boy for using his real name. It takes a healthy set of balls to do that, no other way to say it. Sorry hope I dont offend but it is true. Seems whoever said that about him needs to grow some and put there real name on here.

First off, I've never made, sold or taken any drugs in my life. So no meth head here.

Secondly, I only wrote what I heard. If it's not true, then now you are aware of the rumor going around...and it's around, trust me.

As for your parents, I wasn't aware there was a senior, I only know the name. I wasn't spreading gossip. I found this thread and felt that I should share what I heard because I believed it to be true.
