Killing baby gets mom 13 years

A Broward County judge on Thursday sent a 19-year-old Iowa mother to prison for 13 years for killing her newborn by dumping her down a seventh-floor trash chute.

Why is it that when people kill an innocent child they don't get life in prison or death? Somone has taken away this childs life, so the same thing should happen to that person. It's like a childs life has no value.

Don't you thing the parents deserve some responsibility in their treatment of their daughter during her first pregnancy. They deserve jail time as well. She was a kid herself and felt compelled to do everything she could to keep the pregnancy from her parents and get rid of the baby. Sad, Sad situation.
