Woman to face financial, murder trials

A Mooresville woman accused of killing her Concord police officer husband and of several financial crimes will be tried separately on the homicide and financial charges.

This case was and is still a shocker to our local communtiy.I'm just surprised that she is out on bond. It's hard to believe that the county I live in would let someone who shot their husband in the back of the head walk free till trial.But of course this is the same county who held a man under a huge bond for something they knew he did not do, because the first time the man was accused was over 25 years ago and declared not guilty then.I urge everyone in this county to make a point of following the justice system very closely and call them on the mistakes they are making.

[Jury Reached a Verdict]

Jeff Carr's slander, repeated lies, attempt to make Ken Darty lose his law license, assault, and malicious prosecution has all been judged by a jury of 10 intelligent law biding citizens on October 8,2008. They decided that Jeff Carr should pay Mr. Darty $15,000.00 in punitive damage. Just goes to show that Karma has bitten Jeff Carr in the ass. He tried to destroy Mr. Darty's life because he was obsessed with his brothers ex-wife. Jeff has lost his job... Ken Darty has not. Jeff was found guilty of his assault on Ken Darty a few months back. Mr. Darty was found not guilty. Now after last Wednesday's jury decision, he has to pay damages to Mr. Darty for slander and malicious prosecution. So to all of you that have believed what Jeff wrote on this blog, Please know that it was only Jeff Carr's useless attempt to destroy Mr. Darty to no avail. This blog was researched and ALL of the negative comments and lies traced back to one person,... Jeff Carr. Mr. Darty is a wonderful father, exceptional lawyer, and an asset to our community. His children are respectful, young christian adults, who excel in school and sports and do not deserve what Jeff Carr has embarrassed them with in false allegations against their father. Jeff Carr, you and your wife crawl back under the rock you crawled out of and let our community shine with Mr. Darty, our native home town hero.

All of us that really knew you, know that you have run around with lots of married women, clients and otherwise. We also know that you have never been above lying, cheating or stealing (of sorts), so get off it. My personal opinion, formed from intimate knowledge of the subject matter, is that although you were always good in one way or another, you have never been an angel. And although righteous, it was always self righteousness on your part.

And as for your quote "If you ever need a lawyer who will fight for you them look me up.", don't make me laugh. I believe I paid you for services that you never rendered. As a matter of fact, warrants were issued because you didn't show up for court, although you were paid. Guess you were busy playing golf, watching sports, or dallying with other men's wives.

I can think of at least two marriages you almost destroyed by being a cheat.

It would be most helpful to those hurt by this person to identify the marriages, "at least two" that you are aware of. This has got to stop.
People cannot get away with destroying others lives and getting away with it.
Families are the core of our society and need to be protected.
Please do the right thing and come forward with the information.

Do The Right Thing, pay attention. I did not say the marriages were destroyed, just "almost". Therefore it would serve no purpose to come forward. One of the marriages is actually thriving and has never been better, possibly due to the influence of Kenny.

Regardless of past experience, I have the utmost respect and admiration for the man, I merely wished to point out that he has his flaws, as do we all. I also have several fond memories of him.
