Henderson has done a great JOB and if it isnt broke dont fix it.Henderson already has the connections in Frankfort and with the economy like it is we need that.Monies are tight and he got all he could. He even got monies for a area that is against him,so for me and mine we will vote for Richard Henderson.

Well you cant always keep saying dont fix what isnt broke. With that attitude major breakthroughs would have never been accomplished. What if Bell, Edison, Ford, etc. had that attitude? So all in all I am saying that Billy Ray has the potential to be a great State Represenative. This district needs to take the extra step and be innovative and progressive like the inventors and thinkers mentioned before.

Henderson has done major amounts for this district and will do so much more in the years to come.Mr. Fawns may have the potentials for a State Representative im not saying he dosent but so does Henderson and he is our current Rep. and doing excellent, and will continue to do more.

I hope Richard Henderson wins again. He has done so much for the community. Why take out someone that knows what is going on.

I hate to tell the poster, who talked about all the "monies" Henderson has gotten for the district, and the "monies" he has gotten for an area that is against him. That "monies" was coming no matter if you or me were in office,it was coming if whoever was in office sit on their thumb all day in Frankfort and never asked for anything, that was coming if no one was even in Frankfort representing us.We would have gotten that "monies".
And to the prior poster, who said,"he has done so much fot the community." I hate to inform you,he hasn't done near what you think he has.As a matter of fact,he hasn't done any thing to benefit us. He is only out there for the name recognition, nothing else.

Well i beg to differ with the last poster he did do more than you think with help he did get "monies" that wouldnt have been had had he not been a voice for us in frankfort..Seems to me some would fight him if he gave them thier weight in gold,do you hate him that much or are you just jelous or maybe your just stupid, with a little work you could be a Royal A-hole

from what i hear, you should vote for Henderson because he goes to all the chili suppers, etc. sounds like a dumb reason to vote for a state rep. my vote is for Fawns - he's definitely the best man for the job!

Ya Fawns is the man for the job, Former Represenative Adrian Arnold is very intelligent and can definately spot a good candidate. If he, a man once filling the office and doing a great job, says Fawns is the man to vote for then my vote will go to Mr. Fawns.

some people seem to have a problem with the truth. At the same time want to feel good about themselves by downgrading others. I for one have no problem with Mr. Henderson and have no reason to say hateful things about him(unlike Henderson voters towards Fawns supporters)I would just like people to know the facts, but if they are too blind to see them, I guess that is there own problem.

What exactly has Richard Henderson accomplished while in office? From my understanding he is a joke in Frankfort, he was given a pity position on a committee, just because all freshman representatives were required to assist on a committee, not because he deserved the position....I love how he is now trying to make himself look like a big deal. The truth be known, to beat all, he left the City of Jeffersonville in a huge financial mess for his brother to deal with when he left. Yeah, he may go to all of your chili suppers and benefits, but let's face facts only as a political move, not because he cares.

I am so ashamed of you for your comment on the benefits. You need to be careful what you say because you could be the very next one who needs help. NO ONE is above needing help or support and if and when you ever do The Henderson's would gladly help you too! Helping someone that is down and out due to a terminal illness has nothing to due with politics and I for 110% can tell you that Richard nor any of the Henderson's have not and NEVER will use helping any person for political gain. God Bless to you all!

Oh I think Henderson uses the negative experiences (sickness, death)of other people to his political advantage AND the CHURCH of all places for political gain. I've seen it and It really is sickening and I hope the majority of people can see it for what it is.

First all, I have had family down on their luck and the so called wonderful "Henderson's" didn't do the first thing....even when asked. Second of all, telling the truth is not mud slinging. Third of all, WHY would I be jealous of Richard Henderson!

I have to agree,Richard is probably only helping people to get votes. Before the '06 election I never saw or heard of him before. If he did these acts out of the kindness of his heart where was he before then? Now that there are a few votes he could get up here he seems to be in Campton sticking his nose in everything trying to fit in like he has known us forever and like he is one of us. If he was doing these things out of kindness of his heart and not to get votes, where was he before he was running for office? Where was his shoulder to cry on? Where was his willing to repair someones front porch? Where was his generosity then? I can tell you where it was, it was in Jeffersonville, where he was getting votes for mayor by doing these same things. Before two years ago he could care less about Wolfe county or the people in it. The reason he could care less about us was there were no votes here to help him win a mayor's race. But now that there's votes here to help him get re-elected to the House he does everything he can to try and get them, even if it involves going to a church and standing up to give a testimony,I've seen it.
Talk about hard up for votes.Maybe if he would just do his job in Frankfort,he wouldn't have to pour a concrete slab for someone to get their vote.
