Dishes use to come in oatmeal and soap powder had towels and wash rags. The small boxes had wash cloths. the medium boxes had dish towels and the large boxes had towels. One brand was Silver Dust. Been a long time ago lol

I have a large collection of glasses from detergent that my father gave me, I am not old enough to remember this.

I remember the real prizes from Cracker Jacks though!

the soap powder I remember having towels, wash clothes or hand towels was called Breeze if I am not mistaken. I remember my mom used to make a game for us kids. she'd let each of us guess what color the towel or whatever was. no prize for guessing right, but it was fun and didnt cost anything.

For now on, I think if you comment with a memory about these dishes and wash cloths you must post your DOB.

Ok so the last post was not directed to pothead like it appears to be. It is for everyone. Just so we have a general idea of how long ago it was that you got your dishes as you bought soap.

I can't find anything on google about this.

Trust me. Dishes were in oatmeal and some laundry detergents. Also, wash cloths and towel in laundry detergent. By the way.....1964
