Mont. Tractor lost the John Deere dealership to Bevins Motors of Georgetown,Paris and another town somewhere else because John deere wanted Mont. Tractor to build a bigger better building and they would not.I heard Bevins is moving it to Winchester. And heard that I-64 is fixing to close. But have also heard that Mont. Tractor got the Massey Ferguson Dealership and Massey is coming back to town.So Kenny had better watch out Massey will put the hurt on Kubota big time again.

Massey is crap. Mont tractor watch out since they only have one brand now its them against kubota and now they have John Deere surrounding them. I guess when your not willing to spend the money and expand that happens, people want nice store's. If your not in business to stay in business and grow then that's the owners fault for not doing so.

john deere is outragous. all the people buying is the name brand and the color of the country. i like my troy built and dixon. they both do just as good and sometimes even better than the john deere mowers and its half the price with the same deck size and engine hp. maybe if the john deere people will drop their prices to an average of what the others brand name sells for and they would be in good hands.

for example
john deere mower $2500 42'' cut, 22hp bridge stratton, fuel injecton. they all smoke at 1st start.

troy built mower $800 42'' cut 22hp bridge stratton, fuel injection and its a 7 speed which it goes alot faster

no wonder john deere is cutting back

How do you expect to stay in business selling only one branded and only stuff the company tells them to sell. At least Montgomery Tractor has two major brands two sell as well as they have all the different brands of attachments to sell as well, plus they been around for over 50 years in mt. sterling they prob wont be going away. People prefer ones the trust.
Deere should go down

Yea listen to there radio add funny how the guy from bath county only sold some new holland stuff in Fleminsburg and knows nothing about john deere, if he was that good they would kept him there instead of letting him go. John Deere is a joke, funny how the want the dealer who had it try and buy other stores that dont make money and when they say no, they find someone who is not smart too do it. Other dealers who has done what Bevins is doing has gone Bankrupt. Too bad John Deere was stupid to think buy taking it away from a store people trusted to throwing it to people know one knows makes sense? Guess if they can do it selling only john deere and not giving the customer optiosn when somethign goes wrong thats them. Theyll prob have to close there other stores to afford to keep this one open. Long Live Montgomery Tractor the true dealer of Mount STerling
