My family and I moved to Mt.Sterling a few months back and I am looking for a good daycare for my 3 children. I have a newborn and I am going back to work soon. I also have a 2 year old, as well as an 8 year old that would only need after school care. Pls. let me know what you think about the area daycares.

I would most definitely go with Giggles and Grins. The facility is super nice and the everything is like new, they have an awesome playground and the teachers and staff are always doing something fun with the children. They have water days in the summmer, the book mobile comes weekly, there is always something going on. Plus they participate in the STARS program and the Abeka program, those are two the best. The children have their own workbooks and my child absolutely loves it. The teachers are wonderful, loving, and caring. Don't know much about Playground Station but I checked it out a few years ago and it was a disaster...they may have been remodeling or something.

Sounds like Giggles and Grins and Playground Station are about equal than...I guess just which ever you prefer. The only differance may be the Abeka program. The liabrary comes on Thrusday's to Giggles and Grins. So guess you just need to check them both out. I like how Giggles and Grin has separate buildings for each age group....the infants are in one building, the two year olds have their own little house, and then there is the pre-school. Each age group even has there own playground. It is also a wonderful place with loving people to care for your children.

Our family loves Giggles and Grins!! The staff are wonderful and they treat my daughter like part of their own family as well. As noted above they are top notch with all of the educational oportunties they offer!!! Stop by anytime, I am sure they would be happy to give you a tour.
The best thing to think of when deciding about a child care center is what goes on when parents aren't expected to be there. I would strongly encourage you to do drop bys where ever you are thinking about enrolling your children. This is the best way to see that consistent quality care is being done and it will also ease you mind!!

Personally if you really want your kids to the one on one personal attention that all kids deserve and don't want to be ripped off in the process I would suggest going to Tiny Blessings it is a methodist church and my little girl absoultly loves it. She was 9 months old when she started going and she instantly fell in love with the teachers there and she doesn't like anyone. They are small but they love all of the kids like there own.Its great I would check it out it's on Grassy Lick road in Mt. Sterling so if you work in town it really isn't out of the way I work down town Mt. sterling and it only takes me five min to get to work after I drop my daughter off. my family loves it. Even the teachers enroll their own kids there.

My daughter has went to Gateway Christian Learning Center since 6 weeks old, she's almost four. GCCLC has provided her a wonderful education and extensive preparation for pre-school and grammar school. A combination of classroom, playtime, and bible study, have provided an excellent structure for my daughter. The latest director, selected by the Church board, has been an asset for the center. I work flexible hours and am comfortable knowing my daughter is provided the optimum attention at GCCLC.

Giggles and Grins is by the best! It has all the extra's along with loving staff. My child is well taken care of and I know they care about her as well. The pre-school center at Giggles and Grins has taught her so much...they send progress reports home and keep the parent's up to date as well. It's an awesome facility! STARS program, Abeka progrom, mobile nursery.....they got it all. Just drop in....they will be glad to give you a tour!
